摘要： A collapsible container formed from paperboard or similar foldable sheet material which is fabricated in collapsed condition and which is characterized by front and back wall forming panels hingedly joined at the bottom and having vertical side wall panels which are connected to portions of the corresponding side edges of the front and back wall panels on hinge lines each having angularly related portions which converge inwardly in the plane of the front and back wall panels and which side wall panels are collapsible on a central vertical hinge line into the plane of the collapsible front and back wall panels, the collapsed container being adapted to be opened up for use by inward pressure on the center hinge portions of the side wall panels sufficient to move the side wall panels toward each other to a fully open and locked position, the side wall panels being freed at bottom edge portions from the front and back wall panels, thereby enabling the bottom portions of the side wall panels to form leg-like supports and rendering the container self supporting when opened up and placed in an upright position.

摘要： A method and apparatus for continuous packaging of bottled beverages, or the like, in basket-style carriers wherein the carriers are advanced by an overhead conveyor, in opened-up condition with bottom wall forming flaps, which initially depend in the plane of the side walls being hinged to an upwardly inclined position while the carriers travel down an inclined path, for assembly with groups of the bottled beverages which are advanced on a bottom conveyor to an assembly area where successive carriers are forced in telescoping relation down over groups of bottles and the bottom wall forming panels of the carriers which have been hinged upwardly are engaged and drawn downwardly by plate members carried on endless conveyors traveling in vertical paths on opposite sides of the groups of bottles, after which heat activatable adhesive on the bottom wall forming flaps is activated and the flaps which have been swung down upon advance beyond the draw down plates are plowed into bottom wall forming position with overlapping margins in seam forming engagement so as to complete the packages.

摘要： This relates to a carton for packaging a product which is to be processed in a microwave. The carton includes a top wall which is hinged to a portion of a rear wall and has a glue flap bonded to a removable portion of a front wall. The carton is formed of a delaminatable web with the top wall having transversely spaced score lines in opposite faces thereof whereby the carton is openable by removing the removable portion of the front wall and then peeling a major portion of the top wall from border portions thereof to open the carton. After the product has been removed, the top wall is swingable into the interior of the carton to form a support platform for the product. The support platform is positioned a predetermined distance above the bottom wall of the carton to provide for a maximum efficiency of the heating of the product within a microwave oven.

摘要： A carrier for cups. The carrier is formed from a flat blank to have a flat folded state from which it may be readily erected by pressing together on opposite ends. In addition to a base having a bottom, the carrier has an upstanding combined separator and handle. As a result, the upper configuration of the blank is one wherein like blanks in inverted relation and longitudinally shifted may be nested. The nesting may either be a positive nest where there is waste at one end of each of two blanks or two adjacent blanks may be longitudinally and transversely shifted relative to one another to provide a major nesting while having a minimum amount of waste material between two opposed blanks. With this arrangement, the blanks may be formed endlessly in end-to-end relation along an elongated web.

摘要： This relates to a food scoop having a false bottom defining in the bottom portion of the scoop a hidden chamber in which a prize or the like may be hidden. The construction of the scoop is such that it may be supplied in a completed folded state and may be easily erected at the site. Further, the hidden compartment is accessible as the scoop is being erected so that the selected prizes, etc. may be inserted into the compartment before the compartment moves into the bottom of the scoop. One of the sides of the scoop is provided with an easy opening feature so that access may be had to the hidden compartment by the purchaser of the product.
