摘要： A constant quantity discharging device for measuring and discharging a constant quantity of powdered object from a powdered object container includes a fixed cap, a rotary disk, and a rotary cap which are coupled and mounted to the container. The rotary disk and the rotary cap sandwiching the fixed cap are rotated manually as a unit with respect to the fixed cap. The rotary disk has a powder taking out aperture, the fixed cap has a powder storing aperture, and the rotary cap has a powder discharging aperture. The positional relationships of these apertures are shifted circumferentially as the rotary disk and the rotary cap are rotated with respect to the fixed cap such that these apertures are sequentially communicated with an adjacent aperture. As a result, the powder in the container is transferred to the powder storing aperture through the powder taking out aperture of the rotary disk, and then the powder is discharged from the powder storing aperture through the powder discharging aperture of the rotary cap. The constant quantity of powder is determined by the volume of the powder storing aperture.

摘要： Improvements in portion dispensing caps in which pre-measured portions of materials, such as particulate matter, can be dispensed from a container. The portion dispensing caps include a closure and a sliding member. The sliding member is biased in a loading position by a resilient arcuate projection. The sliding member can also include a portion which engages into and seals an opening in the closure. The sliding member may have a hingedly connected wall which is unattached when molded by an injection molding process but which is attached to other walls of the sliding member when the sliding member is disposed in the closure.

摘要： A metering dispensing cap is used in conjunction with an open-mouth container of granular food product, such as coffee, sugar or the like, and includes a hollow tubular body mounted in the cap to have its longitudinal axis located above and essentially parallel to a plane containing the open mouth of the container. An operating handle is mounted on the hollow body, and the body includes a transfer opening leading into the interior of the body, with the transfer opening being moved from a position to receive product from the container to a position to dispense that product via a product dispensing opening defined in the cap when the body is rotated about its longitudinal axis. A second embodiment of the device includes a locking feature which requires several different movements to operate the device whereby a child-proof feature is added.

摘要： Apparatus for precision metering of selected amounts of fungible or granular material such as coffee consisting of a frame, a hopper supported by the frame having a large upper storage area and communicating with a small lower vertically oriented exiting trough, horizontal sliding plate extending below a forward lip of the exiting trough, the horizontal sliding plate having an edge contacting the extended rear lip and for moving the plate to traverse the rear lip during metering of the granular material, receptacle securably attached on an under side of the horizontal sliding plate, and the horizontal sliding plate cooperating with the rear lip during traverse of the horizontal sliding plate for filling the receptacle means by the rear lip causing the metering of the granular material on the sliding plate to dump into the receptacle. The forward lip is adjustable for controlling the magnitude of metering of the granular material. The horizontal sliding plate is spring biased for returning the sliding plate to a position for receiving the metering of the granular material. The horizontal sliding plate is essentially U-shaped for retaining the granular material heaped between the U-shaped sides, the rear lip and that portion of the forward lip disposed in position for the metering of the granular material together with a vertical member engaging at the forward end of the horizontal sliding plate. The hopper is constructed of a transparent material. The hopper is provided with a cover sheet. The forward lip is controlled by a knob to provide adjustability in controlling the magnitude of metering of the granular material. The hopper is removable from the frame. The horizontal sliding sheet is tensioned by a spring for positioning it in a forward position and urging it against a vertical member engaging at the forward end of the horizontal sliding plate.

摘要： A device for dispensing a measured quantity of granular material from a container includes a cap adapted to be secured to the open end of the container, and a generally cup-like housing secured to the interior surface of the cap. A dispensing member is disposed within the housing, and is adapted to be rotated about the axis of the cap and housing by a lever which extends outwardly from the cap. The dispensing member includes a cylindrical chamber extending therethrough parallel to the axis thereof, and adapted to be rotated to register with an intake port in the housing to be filled with granular material. 摘要： A device for dispensing a pre-measured amount of a particulate solid such as instant coffee utilizing a rotatable hollow cylinder having an opening in the side wall extending radially for between 45.degree. and 135.degree. along a portion of the cylinder. The cylinder is positioned in a jar attachment member which holds an inverted jar above the hollow cylinder. As the cylinder is rotated, the hollow opening therein is filled and when the opening is oriented downwardly the particulate matter is ejected. Piston means are positioned within the hollow cylinder to adjust the volume of the opening to permit pre-measuring the amount which will be released.
