    摘要: A slide guide device for a press guides a slide in a cycle. The slide guide device eliminates eccentric force misalignment and prevents eccentric contact between the slide and a gib. The slide includes at least a first spherical shoe having at least a first guide surface. The gib includes at least a first sliding surface opposite the first guide surface. During operation, the spherical shoe rotates relative to the slide to provide automatic planar alignment between the first guide surface and the sliding surface. A wedge supports the gib to allow rapid and easy alignment with the slide.

A first guide assembly acts between the slide element and the one column. The first guide assembly has a) a first bearing assembly consisting of a first bearing housing on one of the slide element and one column, a first carrier that is guidingly movable relative to the first bearing housing, and a first roller element that is movable guidingly relative to the first carrier and acts against a first surface on the other of the slide element and the one column to guide movement between the slide element and frame as the slide element is moved between the retracted and extended positions, and b) a second bearing assembly consisting of a second bearing housing on one of the slide element and the one column, a second carrier that is guidingly movable relative to the second bearing housing, and a second roller element that is movable guidingly relative to the second carrier and acts against a second surface that is i) on the slide element in the event that the second bearing housing is on the frame and ii) on the frame in the event that the second bearing housing is on the slide element.

    摘要: A middle liner of a slide guide device for a machine press has a spherical shaped side which fits into a sliding gib attached to a slide. The middle liner slides along a fixed gib at first and second linear surfaces that are at an angle with each other. The combination of self-alignment and smooth movement of the slide is achieved in the presence of an eccentric load acting on the slide. A machine press equipped with such a slide guide device has excellent eccentric load resistance and high working precision. In a further embodiment, a press machine is further equipped with a knockout device having knockout block moving between a pair of guide rails. A plurality of middle liners, each having at least one spherical surface, are positioned between the knockout block and the guide rails. The resulting knockout device provides a stable knockout load with low noise and low energy consumption.

    摘要: A guide system is provided to slidingly guide a reciprocating dynamic balancer weight within a press machine. An elongate stationary guide rail is disposed within a vertical channel formed at one side of the balancer mass. In this configuration, the guide rail is arranged in guide support relationship to the balancer mass. An arrangement of wear plates is mounted to the guide rail to provide additional bearing support to the reciprocating balancer mass. An arrangement of hydrostatic pads is mounted to the guide rail in facing opposition to the balancer mass to enable the formation of a hydrodynamic/hydrostatic lubricating action therebetween during reciprocation of the balancer mass. A machined steel plate is secured to the balancer mass at the same side where the guide rail is located and includes a set of lateral apertures formed therethrough that receive guide support members extending therethrough. The guide support members anchor the guide rail to the press crown.

    摘要: When starting up the punch press its eccentric shaft must accelerate through a start-up angle from the resting state up to the operating speed of rotation due to the forces of inertia of the moving structures of the punch press. When stopping the punch press the eccentric shaft is rotated in the direction of normal operation into a position between the upper dead center and the lower dead center position, in which latter position no contacting between the upper tool and the metal strip to be worked upon takes place. From this position the eccentric shaft is rotated backwards by the start-up angle into a start-up angle position. In the start-up angle position again no contact between the upper tool and the strip takes place. Accordingly, an enlarged start-up angle which has been increased backwards over the upper dead center position is available for the start-up of the punch press, such that the first punching is executed at the same dynamic conditions of the punch press as the next subsequent punching operations, such that when starting the punch press up precise products are produced already by the first stroke.
