In one embodiment a child conveyance device comprises a shell including a first canopy recess, a support surface configured to support a child, and a retractable canopy mounted on a canopy cap pivotally coupled to the shell and configured to support the canopy above at least a portion of the support surface and to secure a first portion of the canopy in a retracted configuration within the first canopy recess upon positioning of the canopy cap in a closed configuration.

In one embodiment, an apparatus has a seat-back attachment portion, a support portion and a footrest portion integral to an adjustable loop of fabric. The seat-back attachment portion is positionable on a top or tray table of a seat-back. The support portion is coupled to the seat-back attachment and footrest portions and suspends the footrest portion at a variable height above the floor. The apparatus may include an integral cover which substantially encloses the apparatus when in a folded position. The footrest portion may have a substantially rigid lateral member, and may have padding secured to the rigid lateral member.

In one form a resilient finger on the hook coacts with surfaces on the pivot pin to provide resistance to movement of the hook between the stored and deployed positions. The pin is configured to provide varied resistance at different hook positions.

摘要： The invention relates to a removable suspended device which serves as both a head rest and a head restraint for the passenger of a vehicle. The invention is essentially characterized in that the device is suspended in space such that it can move without any direct contact being established between the supporting area and the seat, thereby maintaining the vertical position of both the head and the neck. The preferred embodiment of the invention includes a rigid suspension element (6) which is generally secured to the highest part (7) of a seat and from which the main body (MB) of the device is suspended. The lower occipital region of the head is supported by the lower area of the main body of the device (2). The head is further restrained by means of a front area (4) restricting forward movement and two vertical side areas restricting side movements. The aim of the invention is to improve a passenger's quality of rest and sleep, to prevent neck discomfort and injury and to provide increased safety in the event of an accident or a sudden vehicle maneuver.
