Abstract:
A small watercraft equipped with a lock mechanism for an engine hood is disclosed. The watercraft includes a deck, an engine hood that is pivotably provided to the deck around a pivot shaft, and covers an engine room thereunder from above so as to open and close, and a lock mechanism for locking the hood in an open position. The mechanism includes one member attached to the hood, another member attached to the deck, and a stopping member. At least one of the one member and the another member is formed with a protruding portion that protrudes in the radial direction of the pivoting. The stopping member is attached to the other member, and the protruding portion engages with the stopping member when the engine hood reaches a predetermined open position so that the protruding portion stops the pivoting of the one member to lock the hood in the position.

Abstract:
A partition panel assembly includes a stationary panel member having an exposed surface including a longitudinally-extending, downwardly-exposed channel, and a door member slidably supported from the stationary panel member for movement between a closed position and an open position. The partition panel assembly also includes a door member support assembly comprising a roller assembly operably coupled to the door member, and a support member having an upwardly-extending arm received within the channel of the stationary panel member, a downwardly-extending arm abutting the exposed surface of the stationary panel member, and a track member supporting the roller of the roller assembly such that the door member is slidably supported from the stationary panel member. The partition panel assembly further includes a decelerator assembly including a spring member secured to the track member and adapted to frictionally engage the door member when the door member is proximate the open or closed position, thereby decreasing a velocity of the door member prior to the door member reaching a fully opened or closed position.
Abstract:
The buffer device (10) has a body (11) which can be fitted in a rail (4), a damping element (12) for cushioning, and a retaining spring (13) for retaining a running mechanism (6) which is guided in the rail (4) and is provided for carrying and guiding slidable wing elements (2). The at least approximately U-profile-shaped body (11) of the buffer device (10), which body is punched and bent from a metal element, has a first and a second wing (14; 18), which wings are connected to each other by a central piece (20) whose tongue-shaped extension forms the retaining spring (13) serving to retain the running mechanism (6). The end pieces (17, 19, 26; 17*, 19*) of the wings (14; 18) are configured in such a manner that they are suitable for retaining the damping element (12). The buffer device (10) can be manufactured cost-effectively from a single metal plate and can be completed by a damping element (12). Since the retaining spring (13) is a component part of the body (11) of the buffer device (10), the device is highly stable.
Abstract:
A mechanism for assembling sliding glass doors, comprising an upper track (3), a lower parallel guide (5) between which are arranged fixed sheets (1) and moveable sheets (2). The track (3) has an inverted L-shaped cross section and its vertical member is provided with means (16) for fastening stops, the lower part of said member ending in an inverted groove (14) with an upper rib (15) on which slides the wheel (30) of the suspension heads which comprise two plates (20 and 21) that can be opposed and fixed together, with the interposition of a pivot (27) to regulate the separation between said plates. The horizontal member (8) of the L-shape is provided at the end with a channel (18) for fixing a shape (19) to restricts the lifting of the sheet (2).
Abstract:
The track for the panel of a sliding door or window confines a locating device with two resilient leaves which have first end portions secured to the bottom part of the track and second end portions normally extending upwardly into the path of movement of the rim of a wheel at the underside of the panel. The second end portions of the leaves are disposed between the first end portions and define a gap wherein the lowermost portion of the rim comes to rest after the rim has been caused to roll over one of the leaves and to be arrested by the upwardly extending second end portion of the other leaf. If the panel is to be shifted to a different position, it is pushed with a force which suffices to enable the rim of the wheel to depress the second end portion of one of the leaves whereupon the rim rolls over the one leaf toward a different position. A foot can be clamped to the track to positively prevent the panel from moving beyond a selected position.
Abstract:
An improved hinge (1; 100; 150; 200; 250; 300) for revolving shutters (A), especially of shower boxes, comprising a structural assembly which includes a strike block (2; 201) defining a substantially vertical main axis (Y) and suitable to be made integral with a fixed or bearing auxiliary structure (A′), a pair of shaped flanges (3, 4; 103, 104; 203, 204; 203, 204) opposite, facing and coupled each other through fastening means (5) in such a way as to define a side recess (6) in which the strike block is substantially housed (2; 201), a side groove (7) which communicates with the outside and develops for at least part of the perimeter of the shaped flanges (3, 4; 103, 104; 203, 204; 253, 254) and is suitable to receive a peripheral portion of a revolving shutter (A) of a shower box, and an inner seat (8) hidden from view in which rotation means (9) are stably housed defining an auxiliary axis (Y′) parallel to the main axis (Y) of the strike block (2; 201) and cooperating, on one hand, with the strike block (2; 201) itself in such a way as to define a first operative position, in which the revolving shutter (A) closes, remaining stable in position, a room of the shower box, and at least one second operative position, in which the rotating shutter (A), as a result of rotation around the main axis (Y) imparted by a user, opens fully, remaining stable in position, the room of the shower box, and, on the other side, with elastic means (10) suitable to retain the rotation means (9) stably against the strike block (2; 201) at each of aforesaid operative positions. In particular, the elastic means (10) comprise an elastically yielding laminar body (11) shaped in such a way as to substantially embed in its own overall encumbrance the rotation means (9) which include a single idle roller (12; 156) extending for the entire height (H), defined parallel to said main axis (Y), of a head portion (13) of the strike block (2; 201), opposite to the base portion (14) associated with the fixed or bearing auxiliary structure (A′).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hinge for a domestic appliance for pivotably fastening a lid to a body of the domestic appliance, comprising a first hinge element and a second hinge element, which are pivotably connected to each other and which can be pivoted in relation to each other between an open position and a closed position. The hinge is characterized in that a control lever is rotatably supported on the first hinge element and a control gate is formed on the second hinge element, in which control gate a control pin formed on the control lever is guided, wherein the control gate is shaped in such a way that, during a closing motion of the hinge, an intermediate position is assumed and held until the closing motion is continued to the closed position, whereas the hinge is pivoted to the open position during an opening motion from the closed position. The invention further relates to a domestic appliance, in particular a top-loading washing machine, comprising a body, to which a lid is pivotably fastened by means of at least one such hinge.
Abstract:
A connecting device, in particular for installing at least one opening stay on a window leaf has a rail, which can be guided as far as possible in the direction of the first longitudinal axis thereof into a groove of the connecting device. The groove engages at least in sections behind the rail. The blocking of the longitudinal displaceability of the rail in the groove is guaranteed at least counter to the first longitudinal direction by a projection connected to the rail, which projection engages in a recess in the region of the groove. The projection is held in the installed position of the connecting device by a spring element in the recess. A spring element is arranged on the rail preferably in a limited movable manner. Alternatively or in addition, the connecting device can comprise a cap which holds the projection in the installed position of the connecting device indirectly and/or directly at least partially in the recess.
