    摘要: A halved sliding bearing (1) has a recess (7) formed in a circumferential direction from an outer peripheral edge of a mating surface (5) of a semi-cylindrical bearing main body (3). To prevent formation of a burr to an inside of the recess (7) during formation of the mating surface (5), an entirety of at least one edge segment of a peripheral edge of the recess (7) opening on a circumferential end surface of a semi-cylindrical member (23) as an unprocessed body of the bearing main body (3), the at least one edge segment intersecting with an axial direction of the member (23), is chamfered. The mating surface is formed by cutting the circumferential end surface such that a cutting blade (31) firstly reaches the chamfered edge in the peripheral edge of the recess (7). Thus, the bearing main body is produced.

    摘要: Disclosed is a fluid dynamic bearing device in which it is possible to prevent detachment of the shaft member reliably and at low cost without involving any increase in the device size. In a thrust bearing portion T, the lower end surface of the shaft member is held in contact with a thrust plate, and the shaft member is rotatably supported in the thrust direction. Protrusions extending radially inwards are provided on a sealing portion attached to an opening of the housing, and these protrusions are engaged with a small diameter portion formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member, thereby preventing the shaft member from coming off.

A longitudinal hole extends from the first end face through the second end face and includes a recessed portion having first and second peripheral edges respectively contiguous to the first end face and an inner periphery of the longitudinal hole. A retaining member is mounted to the first end face. A radial spacing between an inner periphery of a through-hole of the retaining member and the inner periphery of the longitudinal hole of the bearing in a radial direction is not greater than an axial spacing from the first end face to the second peripheral edge. The retaining member further includes a plurality retaining plates. The recessed portion provides a space sufficient to allow deformation of the retaining plates when inserting a shaft through the through-hole into the longitudinal hole of the bearing.
