摘要： A panel hanger assembly for attaching soft panels of insulation material to a structural surface, such as the metal wall of a furnace, the hanger assembly including an elongated stud member having one end for welding to the furnace wall and being pointed at the other end, the stud member being of generally rectangular cross-sectional configuration and having spaced apart pairs of opposed notches formed in the cross-sectional end walls, and a clip having an aperture therein, the first portion of the aperture being dimensioned to freely slidably receive the stud member thereon and the other portion of the aperture being longitudinal and adapted for slidably receiving the stud member at a notched area, the outer surface of the clip being configured to resist reverse lateral displacement of the clip relative to the stud so that when the clip is positioned on the stud to retain insulation previously impaled thereon, the clip is not inadvertantly disengageable from the stud.

摘要： A high temperature, abrasion resistant insulating module is described having a sinuously folded, ceramic blanket with a lath covering three side of the folded blanket. The lath has doubled back portions extending into the folds of the blanket on it hot face. To the lathed front face of the folded blanket is applied a layer of thermally stable, abrasive resistant material which not only serves an as abrasion shield to the brittle fibrous material of the blanket, but only serves to stabilize the module and to reduce fiber dust.

摘要： A procedure for lining spaces with high temperatures, in which the surfaces of the space are lined with fibrous lining material in which the fibers are mainly parallel with planes at right angles against the surface of the space. In the procedure, loose, separate, plate-like fiber strips (1) are used which are disposed side-by-side relative to each other in an installation position to form a transport/application package (2). A fixing compound (3) is applied as a layer upon the edges of the side-by-side strips advantageously over the whole area of one strip layer (4) of the transport/application package. From the package is taken a suitable bunch of strips treated with fixing compound, this bunch being pressed onto the surface of the space at the point of installation and compressed to suitable compactness. The whole surface to be treated is lined, one bunch at a time with fiber strips treated with fixing compound, the bunches being of suitable size depending on the size and shape of the object of installation.
