    摘要: A pushpin device comprises a head adapted to allow a user to apply pressure to the head without discomfort, longitudinally extending fastening member coupled to the head, a base comprising an aperture configured to allow the fastening member to pass through the base, and an outer member coupled to the head and the base. In a first position, the head is spaced from the base, and the outer member encloses a longitudinal segment of the fastening member. In a second position, the outer member is deformed to place the head proximate to the base and to extend the fastening member through the aperture. The outer member exerts a countering force on the base and the head, one of which comprises magnetically susceptible material while the other comprises magnetic material. A magnetic force between the head and the base maintains the outer member in the second position.

    摘要: A steel fastener has an elongate shank, an enlarged head formed at one end of the shank, and a generally pointed tip formed at the other end of the shank. A grooved portion of the shank is formed with helical grooves defining helical ribs and with annular grooves defining annular rings. The shank has a cylindrical portion between the grooved portion and the tip and a cylindrical portion between the grooved portion and the head. Each of the annular grooves has a root where deepest and each of the annular rings has a crest where largest. The roots define an imaginary cone diverging toward the tip. The crests define an imaginary cone converging toward the tip. The shank has an exterior surface coated with a polymeric coating, which is formed from an aqueous composition containing a water-based acrylic resin and a water-based polyurethane resin. A zinc layer and a chromate conversion layer are provided between the polymeric coating and the exterior surface of the shank.

    摘要: Disclosed is an anchor assembly especially for use in a plastic wall-panel which comprises a plug formed of a forward section comprising a tapering plastic board-piercing part and an integral ram head, and of a hollow cylindrical section pivotably connected to the forward section. The assembly may further comprise a spike capable of being driven into the hollow cylindrical section, the spike being provided with a cylindrical portion having serrations on its outer surface for bitting into the cylindrical section or ram head and thus being secured to this section or head. The spike is provided with a hammer portion having a length sufficient at least to engage the ram head, as it is driven into the plug, and to cause pivotal of the forward section of the plug and abutment thereof against the concealed side of the plaster-wall panel.
