    摘要: A temperature sensor for radiant heating units with a heating coil disposed in a cup includes a tube with a first end connected to a housing of a switch with a movable contact cooperating with stationery contacts in the housing. A two-section rod, which extends into the housing of the switch and operates the movable contact, is supported inside the tube. The tube and the rod have different thermal expansion coefficients. To prevent a shift in the switching point, the section of the rod that operates the contact terminates outside the hollow space of the cup, and the temperature-induced length changes of this section and of the housing are matched to each other.

    摘要: A switch device includes a body with a switch member pivotably engaged with a top opening of the body and a first terminal and a second terminal respectively extend through two slots in a bottom of the body. A first contact point is connected to the second terminal. A bi-metallic plate has a first end fixed to the first terminal and a second contact point is connected to an underside of a second end of the bimetallic plate. The second contact point is located above the first contact point. A link has an upper end pivotably connected to the switch member and a lower end of the link clamps the second end of the bimetallic plate. A connection member is fixedly connected to an inside of the body and an adjusting member movably extends through a wall of the body and contacts the connection member. A U-shaped biasing member has a first end connected to the second end of the bimetallic plate and a second end of the biasing member is connected to the connection member. The biasing member provides the bimetallic plate proper flexibility so as to ensure the deformation of the bimetallic plate when overload.

    摘要: An assembly method and a thermostat for an electric/gas oven are provided. An enclosure formed by a base and a cover for enclosing a switch subassembly includes axially aligned channels extending through opposed walls and external keying and positioning features. A pair of axially aligned actuators are received within the axially aligned channels. A frame having cooperating keying and positioning features positions and supports the enclosure containing the switch subassembly and supports both a temperature responsive subassembly and a spindle subassembly in operative position with respect to the actuators. The spindle subassembly includes a cam member mounted on a spindle for rotation with the spindle. The cam member provides a cam surface having a first cam rise equivalent in a first range of rotation of the spindle and a second cam rise equivalent in a second range of rotation of the spindle.
