Abstract: An apparatus includes a subject detection unit configured to detect a specific subject in an input image, an acquisition unit configured to acquire camera information, an estimation unit configured to estimate a target of interest in an image using the subject information and the camera information, a first motion detection unit configured to detect background motion and subject motion, a conversion unit configured to convert the detected background motion and the detected subject motion to a first blur correction amount for correcting background blur and a second blur correction amount for correcting subject blur, respectively, and a correction amount calculation unit configured to, based on the target of interest, combine the first blur correction amount and the second blur correction amount and generate a final blur correction amount.

Abstract: A method for adjusting camera intrinsic parameters of a multi-camera visual tracking device is described. In one aspect, a method for calibrating the multi-camera visual tracking system includes disabling a first camera of the multi-camera visual tracking system while a second camera of the multi-camera visual tracking system is enabled, detecting a first set of features in a first image generated by the first camera after detecting that the temperature of the first camera is within the threshold of the factory calibration temperature of the first camera, and accessing and correcting intrinsic parameters of the second camera based on the projection of the first set of features in the second image and a second set of features in the second image.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and techniques directed to optical image stabilization movement to create a super-resolution image of a scene. The systems and techniques include a user device (102) introducing (502), through an optical image stabilization system (114), movement to one or more components of a camera system (112) of the user device (102). The user device (102) performs (506), based on the respective, sub-pixel offsets of the image of the scene across the respective, multiple frames (306), super-resolution computations and creates (508) the super-resolution image of the scene based on the super-resolution computations.

Abstract: Systems and methods of capturing imagery are provided. In particular, an imaging platform can be configured to capture imagery using a dual-axis steering mirror and one or more image capture devices. The line of sight angle of the imaging platform can be controlled by controlling the motion of the steering mirror in accordance with a motion profile. In example embodiments, the motion profile can correspond to a sawtooth wave. The imaging platform can further include one or more position sensors used to determine a position and/or orientation of the imaging platform along a path on which the imaging platform travels. The motion of the steering mirror can then be controlled to rotate about a first axis and a second axis to compensate for line of sight errors based at least in part on the determined position and/or orientation.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and processor for capturing digital images. The method comprising: displaying a preview scene to be captured in a user interface of the imaging device, capturing a plurality of images using a lens having one or more lens elements and at least one moveable lens element, and moving the moveable lens element electro-mechanically to counter an effect of motion. The method further including processing the plurality of images, receiving and executing instructions stored in a memory of the imaging device, to obtain a corrected image, such that the corrected image includes a first and second subject, the first subject in the corrected image is blur free, and the second subject in the corrected image is blurred compared to the first subject, storing the corrected image in the memory, and displaying the corrected image in the user interface.

The punchout of the video may compensate for rotation of the image capture device during capture of the video. The size of the punchout of the video may be changed based on different rotational positions of to provide a view that includes different extents of the captured visual content. The changes in the size of the punchout may simulate changes in zoom of the visual content.

Abstract: An image stabilization unit includes an optical element, a lens barrel configured to hold the optical element, a magnet, and a fixing member. The image stabilization unit further includes a sensor that detects a position of the lens barrel by sensing magnetism of the magnet, and a flexible substrate connected to the sensor. The flexible substrate includes a sensor mounting portion mounted to the sensor, a movable-side holding portion held by the lens barrel, and a fixed-side holding portion held by the fixing member. The movable-side holding portion and the fixed-side holding portion are located in such a manner as to overlap the sensor mounting portion in an optical-axis direction.

Abstract: A camera module includes an imaging lens, an image sensor, a corner drive mechanism and a side drive mechanism. The image sensor is disposed at an image side of the imaging lens. The image sensor includes a photosensitive surface. The photosensitive surface faces the imaging lens. The photosensitive surface is substantially rectangular. The photosensitive surface is movable close to or away from the imaging lens in a focusing direction, and is movable in a translational direction orthogonal to the focusing direction. The corner drive mechanism is disposed corresponding to a corner of the photosensitive surface. The side drive mechanism is disposed corresponding to a side of the photosensitive surface. One of the corner drive mechanism and the side drive mechanism drives the image sensor to move in the focusing direction, and another one thereof drives the image sensor to move in the translational direction.
