摘要:
A latch mechanism holds a door body in a half-closed state or a fully-closed state with respect to a vehicle body. An open lever connected to an operating handle on the door body releases the half-closed state or the fully-closed state. A release assisting unit triggered by the opening operation of the operating handle assists the release of the half-closed state or the fully-closed state of the door body. A charging device charges a portion of a driving current supplied to a driving source of a lock mechanism between the operating handle and the latch mechanism, and supplies a charged driving current to the release assisting unit.

A locking means for locking the rear doors of a truck trailer in closed position while providing suitable resistance to unauthorized entry. First and second pipes are mounted in an aligned relationship on the rear doors of a truck trailer and a third pipe is inserted into the first and second pipes. A hollow elongated body covers a depending segment secured to the third pipe and locking means are attached to the segment. The third pipe has a non-connected pipe housed therein which pipe is readily rotatable and functions to prevent the complete sawing of the third pipe.

A door device comprises a door hingedly affixed to a housing at the top of the door for covering the opening thereof. A door locking device is provided on the housing at the door and comprises a pair of parallel guide slots each formed through the housing on a corresponding side of the opening. A slide rod is slidably mounted in the slots for movement up and down on one side of the door and extend across the opening. Thus, when the door is open it supports the slide rod and when it closes, the slide rod slides down and bars the door.

A method and system for disengaging a drive rod in a door after an impact to the door. An automobile having a door with a door handle, a drive rod, a latching system, a striker, and a drive rod striking member. The drive rod striking member can be positioned adjacent the drive rod. Upon impact to the door, the drive rod is disengaged from the door handle and/or the latching system through inertia, through the drive rod striking member impacting the drive rod, or through any other disengagement mechanisms. The drive rod striking member prevents the drive rod from re-engaging with the latching system. The disengagement of the drive rod prevents the drive rod from controlling the latching system to disengage from the striker, either through deformation of the door, or through actuations by the door handle.
