摘要: A vehicle door includes a door structure having an interior space and a ramp disposed within the interior space. The vehicle door further includes a latch and a handle that is pivotably connected to the door structure. The handle includes a pair of inwardly and forwardly extending hooks. The vehicle door also includes a cable or other linkage connected to the latch. The cable has a fitting that is pushed along the ramp by the hooks upon pivoting of the handle to thereby shift the cable and unlatch the latch.

摘要: The invention relates to a lock for a door or flap, comprising a locking mechanism that consists of a rotary latch (1) and at least one pawl (2) for locking the rotary latch (1), the rotary latch (1) when in the detent position preferably initiating an opening moment in the pawl (2). The design of the rotary latch (1) is such that said latch is deformed under excessive stress in the locked state in such a way that an engagement between the pawl (2) and the rotary latch (1) is maintained or increases. A lock of this type will not open even under excessive stress.

摘要: A glove box latch system for an automotive vehicle is provided. A glove box door is mounted in an instrument panel housing. The glove box door comprises a movable latch rod and an adjacent lock plate. In the event that the vehicle is involved in a collision, the lock plate engages the latch rod. The engaged lock plate arrests movement of the latch rod, securing the latch rod in the closed position and preventing the glove box door from opening. Exemplary methods and structures for restraining movement of latch rods are provided.

摘要: A vehicle door latch assembly for maintaining the vehicle door in a closed position including during an angled impact to the door latch of the vehicle. The latch assembly includes a catch, a pawl, and an actuator coupled to a door latch base. The catch is movable to and from a closed position wherein the catch is configured to grasp a portion of a striker coupled to the vehicle to maintain the door closed. The catch is also movable to and from an open position wherein the catch is configured to release the striker to allow the door to open. The pawl is configured to maintain the catch in the closed position until the door handle is actuated. The latch assembly includes a blocking plate including an extension member which is deformable during an impact to align with one of or both a pawl lifter and the pawl member to prevent their rotation and thereby maintain the latch assembly and the vehicle door in a latched position during such an impact.

摘要: The objective of the present invention is to provide a routing structure that is for an operation cable and that, with a simple structure, can route an operation cable (7) with sufficient excess length. The present invention has: a handle device (5) that is affixed to the door (1) of a vehicle and that causes the operation force to an operation handle (3) rotatably connected to a handle base (2) to be output from an output section (4); a door lock device (6) that is disposed in proximity to the output section (4) of the handle device (5); and an operation cable (7) that couples the output section (4) of the handle device (5) and the door lock device (6). The operation cable (7) is connected from the output section (4) to the door lock device (6) via an excess length securing pathway that is approximately one circuit of the perimeter of the handle device (5), and the operation cable (7) is movably supported by a guide section (9) provided to an intermediate position of a mobile member (8) of the handle device (5), and the connection section to the door lock device (6) of the operation cable (7), and on the handle base (2), and thus the ingress of the mobile member (8) into a mobile region is restricted.

The first module and the second module are coupled together via a coupling member in order to actuate a lock of the lock assembly when the first module, in particular the actuating unit, is actuated in order to initiate the opening and/or closing procedure of the door. A connecting element is arranged between the first module and the second module. The connecting element maintains the distance between the modules relative to one another substantially constant when a force F acts on at least one of the modules.

摘要: The vehicle door construction includes a bezel carrying a door release lever and linkage connected by a pair of first attachments to a door trim panel and by a second attachment to a door inner panel. The pair of first attachments includes a collar with an aperture for receiving a fastener to attach the bezel via the collar to the door trim panel. A small tab integrally connects the collar to a main portion of the bezel and defines a rupturable area when force is exerted on the door causing the door trim panel to separate from the door inner panel. The tabs rupture to allow the door trim panel to separate from the door inner panel while maintaining the bezel and the door release lever and linkage fixedly attached to the door inner panel.
