    摘要： A hair dryer of the hood type wherein the hood or bonnet is collapsible into such a position after use so as to take up a minimal of storage space. The bonnet is constructed of both stiff and flexible parts arranged on either side of a thin substantially rectangular casing. When the bonnet is used the parts fold outwardly from either side of the case forming a full sized hair dryer. When the bonnet is stored the parts are folded inwardly forming a volume similar to a small attache case.

    摘要： The present invention is directed to an aid to help consumers with long hair to more efficiently and evenly dry their hair at one time. A system, device, technique and kit are envisioned that allow a consumer to either adapt existing hair drying equipment for this enhanced purpose or provide entirely new systems or kits to enable the consumer to evenly dry their hair. Extension members threadably engage to each other and a hair dryer or bonnet, the combined elements when mounted to or on a stand allow a user to control, adjust and guide the airflow around long hair of the user inserted into a tunnel portion of the extension members. A heat distribution conduit provides even heat to the deployed hair, and a stand or mount are employed to stabilize the assembly.

    摘要： A hair drier hood is formed of an approximately sickle shaped laterally open cap (1) and a pair of arms (4, 5) located on the opposite sides of the cap. Each of said arm has a heating element (12), and a plurality of spaced apart heating elements (8) are located in the cap. A box shaped projection (2) is located at the end of the cap arranged to be located adjacent the neck of a person. A blower (13) is positioned in the projection (2) and arranged to direct air into the cap. In the cap (1) the heating elements (8) are separated from ducts (15, 16) by a reflector (10). The reflector (10) contain air outlet orifices (9) spaced apart along the cap. Air is directed through the ducts (15, 16) along the length of the cap (1) and passes through the air outlet orifices (9) and toward the head of the person using the drier.

    摘要： A polypropylene wig supporting framework and method of manufacture. The wig drying framework includes two symmetrical frameworks each shaped somewhat like half of a human head. Each of the symmetrial frameworks includes an integral half-elbow member and two integral support members. The two symmetrical frameworks are connected by means of a thin polypropylene hinge strap approximately 40 mils in thickness. Each symmetrical framework includes a plurality of spaced vertical and lateral members which are integrally joined at intersections thereof. Each symmetrical framework includes a plurality of integral fastening members which may be aligned and snapped together to fasten the two symmetrical frameworks together to provide a single head-shaped wig supporting framework and associated supporting members. The fastening members include rigid "tongue" members and "hinge" members having small openings therein to snap over ends of "tongue" members. The tongue members and hinge members engaged thereto are located on opposite ones of the symmetrical frameworks so that the tongue and hinge members are aligned when the two symmetrical frameworks are properly aligned. The hinge members are each integrally connected to the symmetrical frameworks by means of thin polypropylene strips approximately 40 mils in thickness. The polypropylene wig supporting framework is manufactured by preheating polypropylene molding material to approximately 450.degree. F., and injecting it into an injection mold having a single continuous cavity which defines the entire shapes of the two symmetrical frameworks, half elbow members, support members, fastening members, and the hinge strap. The resulting wig drying framework is inexpensive, and easy to ship, assemble, and utilize.
