摘要： A dual-power portable-use hair dryer system and method for drying hair providing a hair dryer which can be carried on the back or the side of a user who can be a person whose own hair is being dried or a person acting as a stylist drying the hair of others, which can be operated either on AC mains power or on an incorporated DC battery array, where AC mains operation provides free movement within the range of the AC cord and DC battery operation provides unlimited free movement, and where use with a soft bonnet hair-drying attachment allows hands-free use, and use by a stylist allows free movement from person to person. The dual-power portable-use hair dryer draws pre-heated air away from the electric and electronic components for the dual purposes of cooling the components and reducing the expenditure of energy through the heater.

摘要： A salon-type hair drying device is provided, which is easily collapsable when the device is not in use. The device includes a hair dryer in a storage case. Attachable to the hair dryer is a bonnet through a stem plenum portion of which heated air from the dryer is directed into its head surrounding portion and onto a person's hair to be dried. The bonnet is maintained in place on the person's head, without otherwise being held, by a support member that attaches to the dryer and extends through the bonnet's stem plenum portion. When the device is not in use, the support member, which is preferably made of a tape measure type metal, is rolled up with the bonnet and stored in the case with the dryer.

摘要： A portable hard hat type hair dryer having control means for directing heated air either to the front, back and sides of the head, to the back and sides of the head only, or to the back of the head only. This hair dryer is further characterized by a pin-and-slot hinge connection between the upper end of the tubular air conduit and the dome-shaped hood, by sliding latch means for releasably connecting the hood to the base, and by an improved air flow arrangement. 摘要： An appliance for drying hair including a flexible hat or bonnet which provides a manifold for circulating air which is heated and propelled by means of a motor driven fan supported in the center of the crown portion of the hat.
