摘要： A flat knitting machine structure with an adjustable gap between two knock-over bits includes two needle beds and two cam systems. Each needle bed comprises a plurality of needles and a plurality of knock-over bits. Each needle comprises a butt. Each of the knock-over bits comprises a control butt. The two needle beds are disposed at interval so that the knock-over bits face each other to define a gap. The distance of the gap is equal to a space between two knock-over bits facing each other. Each cam system comprises a needle cam to provide the plurality of butts being placed and guide each needle to make a knitting stroke towards the gap, and a knock-over bit cam provides the control butts being placed. The knock-over bit cam is controlled to define a displacement stroke for driving the plurality of knock-over bits to change the size of the gap.

摘要： A feeder includes a carrier and a feeder arm that moves between retracted and extended positions. The feeder also includes a first actuation member that is coupled to the carrier and that is configured to move relative to the carrier in a first direction. The first actuation member has a first aperture at least partially defined by a first edge. Additionally, the feeder includes a second actuation member that is coupled to the carrier and that is configured to move relative to the carrier in a second direction. The second actuation member has a second aperture at least partially defined by a second edge. A projection of the feeder arm is received within both the first and second apertures. Movement of the first actuation member in the first direction causes the first edge to engage the projection for movement of the feeder arm between the retracted position and the extended position. Also, movement of the second actuation member in the second direction causes the second edge to engage the projection for movement of the feeder arm between the retracted position and the extended position.

摘要： In a control device for a knitting machine including a number of knitting carriages running in a knitting circle in a needle bed, a stationary control part and a movable control part are provided. Both control parts operate during the entire knitting process independently from each other. The stationary control part stores information data from stationary components of the machine and the movable control part stores information data for pattern cords of one or several knitted pieces. The application of the data into the movable control part is effected by a cable from a special laser or the stationary control part when the knitting machine is in the inoperative position. The transmission of the data from the movable control part to the running knitting carriages to cause a selection of individual needles over the whole range of knitting and also changes in functions of the running carriages is effected by a cable which connects the movable control part to the running carriages.

摘要： Needles in knitting machines are selected for pattern purposes by a lever system operated by a pattern drum mounted on a carriage passable to and fro over the needle bed. The lever system incorporates locking-sinkers provided with contact feet in staggered relationship so that different force requirements apply to different ones of the rocking sinkers. The present invention provides an additional foot on the end of each rocking sinker and a cam element on the carriage to engage the said additional feet of the rocking sinkers selected by the pattern drum fully to depress the selected rocking sinkers whereby to ensure actuation of the selected needles.
