The first and the second extended ladders have their top ends respectively provided with a necking down fitting member, while the first and the second handheld ladders have the bottom ends of their vertical bars respectively provided with a fitting opening for the fitting member to be inserted therein. Thus, respective first extended ladder and respective second extended ladder can be stored or transported independently, or can be respectively assembled at the bottom ends of the first and the second handheld ladders to have the A-shaped ladder extended to a position high enough for use.

摘要： A climbing apparatus that rests on a surface includes a flip ladder that can move between a straight configuration and a stepladder configuration. The apparatus includes a tray having a plane attached to the flip ladder that moves with the flip ladder between the straight configuration where the tray plane is essentially parallel with the ladder in a stowed position and a stepladder configuration where the tray plane is essentially parallel with the surface in an open position. A method for climbing includes the steps of moving a flip ladder between a straight configuration and a stepladder configuration. There is the step of moving a tray having a plane attached to the flip ladder from a stowed position where the tray plane is essentially parallel with the ladder to an opened position where the tray plane is essentially parallel with the surface. There is the step of moving the flip ladder from the stepladder configuration to the straight configuration which causes the tray to move automatically into the stowed position.

摘要： An assembled ladder is formed by coupling a top ladder segment, a plurality of middle ladder segments, and a plurality of bottom ladder segments together. The bottom ladder segments include a ladder body, support frame assemblies, ancillary frames, adjustable support pads, and adjustable coupling members. The support frame assemblies are respectively set at two sides of the ladder body. The ancillary frames are mounted to the support frame assembly. The adjustable support pads are screwed to the ancillary frames. The adjustable coupling members have an end coupled to the support frame assemblies and are partially received in the receiving space. With the adjustable coupling members fixing the support frame assemblies, the ancillary frames are expanded. Through adjustment made with the adjustable support pads, the ladder can be set more stably to achieve safety and convenience of use.

A guide plate is attached to either the first or second member, and the guide plate is positioned between the first and second segments and between the third and fourth segments. The guide plate includes two non-linear slots, and an other of the first and second members includes two pins, respectively adapted to slide within the two non-linear slots. The pins extend between either the first and second segments or the third and fourth segments.

摘要： A walking stepladder has a pair of substantially identical ladder sides, relatively hinged at the top, each side having step rungs for ascent or descent of the ladder from either side. In walking the ladder, the user straddles the ladder top with his legs supported by opposed rungs at each side of the ladder, and shifts his body weight from side to side while concurrently retracting and extending the ladder sides to effect stepwise ladder movement to one side or the other. Releasable means is provided for limiting inward or retracting movement of the relatively hinged ladder sides to prevent ladder instability or collapsing while being walked.
