摘要： A hinge includes a stationary seat and two rotating units. Each rotating unit includes a linkage module that has an extension body that has a arcuate slide rail, a rotating bracket module that is rotatable and that has a fixing pin, and a sliding module that includes a connecting frame, a positioning pin, and a linkage member. The connecting frame has a curved groove that engages the arcuate slide rail such that movement of the rotating units between an opened and a closed state results in movement between the arcuate slide rail and the curved groove. The linkage member has a through hole, and an elongated slot which the fixing pin passes through to connect the rotating bracket module such that movement of the rotating units between the opened and closed states results in movement between the fixing pin and the elongated slot.

摘要： A tower closing apparatus is provided that is configured to simplify the closing of a multi-piece, hinged hydroponic tower. The hydroponic tower closing apparatus utilizes a collection of static and continuously moving components (e.g., motor driven drive rollers, alignment rollers, tower body alignment rollers, face plate manipulation rollers, face closing rollers, etc.) to close a hydroponic tower as it passes through the apparatus. In particular, as the tower is driven through the closing apparatus, a series of face plate manipulation rollers gradually rotate the face plate(s) relative to the tower body, moving the face plate(s) from a fully open position to a partially closed position. Next a series of face closing rollers continue to rotate the face plate(s) from the partially closed position to the fully closed position, forcing the fasteners to latch the face plate(s) into position.

摘要： A one-piece cast component having at least one integrated attachment part is disclosed. The component includes at least one pin which is rigidly connected to an attachment part; a housing at least partially enclosing the pin in a contactless manner; the pin being arranged in the axial direction between two axial connecting webs and being rigidly connected via the latter to the housing; the pin being arranged in the radial direction between a plurality of radial connecting webs and being rigidly connected via the latter to the housing; wherein the connecting webs are dimensioned in such a way that only the latter break at respective predetermined breaking points when pivoting the attachment part for the first time relative to the housing, whereafter the attachment part, together with the pin, is mounted so as to be pivotable with respect to the housing. The regions of the connecting webs that remain on the housing after the breaking operation prevent the pin from being removed from the housing. The disclosure further relates to a method for producing such a cast component having an integrated attachment part.

摘要： Technologies are described for a hinge mechanism coupled to at least a dual-display device wherein the displays can rotate with respect to each other through 360 degrees. The hinge mechanism has at least one flexible connection member that follows a generally S-shaped path when the displays are in a tablet position. In some embodiments, a second flexible connection member can be added that follows a mirrored S-shaped path. The S-shaped path of the first flexible connection member and the mirrored S-shape path of the second flexible connection member together create a cross-configuration. In other embodiments, interconnected friction hinges can allow for a free-stop function at any point along the 360 degrees of rotation.

摘要： A hinge assembly that includes a frame adapter having a curved inner surface with a front portion and a rear portion, a door adapter having a curved outer surface with a front portion and a rear portion, at least one front hinge strip that is secured along a front hinge strip path, and at least one rear hinge strip that is secured along a rear hinge strip path. The front hinge strip path extends from the front portion of the curved outer surface of the door adapter to the rear portion of the curved inner surface of the frame adapter. The rear hinge strip path extends from the rear portion of the curved outer surface of the door adapter to the front portion of the curved inner surface of the frame adapter. The curved outer surface of the door adapter opposes the curved inner surface of the frame adapter and the door adapter is movable relative to the frame adapter between a front open position, a closed position and a rear open position.
