摘要： Ladders and ladder components are provided including a rung assembly that provides an alert to a user of the ladder that they are standing on a particular rung or step. In one example, the lower most rung or step of a ladder includes a rung assembly having an alert mechanism. The alert mechanism may provide an audible and/or other sensory alert to a user when they step on the rung assembly so that the user recognizes their position relative to the ground or supporting surface. In one embodiment, the rung assembly is configured to include a base member, a displaceable member and an alert mechanism, wherein the displaceable member is positioned between the alert mechanism and the base member.

摘要： A ladder and ladder accessory are provided including an accessory that may be coupled to the ladder in multiple configurations and serve multiple purposes. In one embodiment, a pair of components are each selectively coupled with associated rails of a ladder in a first, stored state, and a second, walkthrough state. When in the walkthrough state, the components extend upwards from and above the rails so that a user may gasp the components and step between the components when transitioning from the ladder to an elevated surface (e.g., a roof) or vice versa. In another embodiment, the components may be coupled to the ladder such that they extend in a direction that is substantially transverse to a plane through which the rails extend. When in this transverse orientation, the components may be used as a stand-off device.

摘要： A device for the purpose of assisting in the opening and closing of a step ladder. The inventive device is targeted for the safe engaging and disengaging of the spreader lock. The spreader lock of most step ladders requires an upward force to be applied by the operator's hand to the underside of the spreader lock. With the use of this device, the upward force can be applied indirectly and allow for the user's hands to safely remain free of the moving parts of the front rail, rear rail, and spreader.

摘要： The Folding Ladder system is comprised of a square edge Double Sided Folding Step Ladder and a square edge Straight Folding Ladder. Both Ladders are collapsible and fold at each Step level which allows the Ladders to fold to a fraction of their normal size. The square overlapping Sections are unique to these ladders. They looks like regular ladders but on closer examination each Section collapse on the Section below which creates a stock up effect that cause the ladder to fold to about a quarter of its original size. The Double Sided Folding Step Ladder has Angled Uprights at the Bottom Section which gives it a wider base which prevent side tip over. The Top Step of both Ladders is not a Step. It is a storage compartment with rounded top not suitable for standing. An access door in the top of the Compartment give access where small tools and parts can be put away safely, without falling if the occupant moves the Ladder.

摘要： A ladder stabilizer is provided, comprising an extension bar portion, a main arm portion, a brace bar portion, teeth strips, and levers. The extension bar portion is enclosed by an outer wall surface, an inner wall surface, and two side wall surfaces, and having upper and lower end portions. The main arm portion has upper and lower end portions configured for a telescopic connection. The brace bar portion has first and second end portions, and the first end portion is connected to the side portion at a lower position, and the second end portion is connected to the extension bar portion at a middle position. The teeth strips are fixed to lower portions of the two side wall surfaces of the main arm portion. Each lever has latching and releasing ends, installed on the two side wall surfaces of the extension bar through two spring-loaded hinges.
