The top plate and the bottom plate are joined together to form a burner and a burner carryover. An igniter air shield extends from either the top plate or the bottom plate such that the igniter air shield diverts secondary combustion air flowing around the burner and the adjacent igniter element.

A first area (120A) is defined as the area of the planar member (120) between the proximate end (124) and the stop (126), limited to the area of planar member 120 inside chamber 102 by stop 126. The first area (120A) of planar member (120) is inserted through an aperture on chamber (102) so that a substantial portion of first area (120A) covers burner (104) within chamber (102) so that the top surface of first area (120A) accumulates any byproduct (130) and/or prevents it from entering burner (104). The bend (128) is angled downward relative to the horizontal axis of the first area (120A) such that a distal end (122) is substantially aligned with the stop (126) and the distal end (122) abuts or rests against the outside portion of test chamber (102) to stabilize and support burner shield (100) during testing.

摘要： Serving drying and gas cleaning processes, and thus also the intermediate heating of gas or flue gas, is a line burner where the fuel gas is fed through a fuel gas pipe and a fuel gas feed to fuel gas manifolds that extends lengthwise in a burner housing and in which fuel gas ports are provided. The necessary primary combustion air flow proceeds through an air manifold, after passing a diffuser plate and an orifice plate into a mixing zone adjacent to the fuel gas ports. Parallel with it, combustion air is fed past the fuel gas manifolds through additional combustion air channels, generating secondary flows of combustion air. Upon flowing around the fuel gas manifolds, these secondary flows are fed to the flame, effecting a dual-stage combustion. Extension plates support angle irons hich lie in spaced relation to the fuel gas manifolds to form a pair of combustion air channels for conducting a portion of the combustion air around the fuel gas manifolds to a downstream location. The extension plates prevent a backup of inert gas into the flame. Thus, airflows or gas flows with high CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2 O contents can be safely dried or reheated.

摘要： A gas burner capable of heating a gas to a high temperature and pressure isisclosed. The burner utilizes a mixing canal to mix the fuel and oxidiser gases and a conically enlarging recess at the exit of the mixing canal. In the recess are both several intake openings for the gas to be heated which openings extend from feeder canals that are parallel to the mixing canal and a side canal leading to an ignition mechanism. The intake openings provide a gas-dynamic blockage of the fuel and oxidiser gas mixture.

摘要： An accessory for oxygen-acetylene cutting torches which extends their life by heat sinking the torch tip and nozzle while allowing the welder to maintain visual sight of the flame and cutting site at all times. A shield is formed which prevents cutting debris from falling on and blocking the nozzle orifices. The torch tip saver can be secured to a variety of different nozzles having varying outer diameter by means of an expansion fitting and an adjustable clamp. One form of the torch saver has a solid leading edge to prevent deformation of the torch saver if the torch saver is rapped against a hard surface.

摘要： A heater structure includes a heater body including a burner connected to a valve switch. A pilot fire assembly is covered by a protective cover that has ventilation holes. A switch unit includes an ignition switch, a shut-down switch, an ignition operator, and a shut-down operator. The ignition operator and the shut-down operator are structured to provide a swingable arrangement. The ignition operator may be operated to contact and press the fuel gas valve rod and the ignition switch to open the valve switch for supply fuel gas to the burner and to activate an ignition circuit to cause successive shootings of an ignition pin of the pilot fire assembly to set a flame on the burner. The shut-down operator is operated to contact and press the shut-down switch, so as to cut off a signal of the thermocouple and thus cut off the supply of the fuel gas.
