    摘要: An apparatus and method for injectors for use in combustion systems employing multiple non-solid or gas streams such as supercritical CO2 systems. The apparatus and method allow for reactants to be injected into a combustion chamber in such a way that combustion is locally inhibited. Injectors employing an inner and outer tube are designed to minimize mixing between the non-solid gas streams and allow for swirling and stratification of the non-solid or gas streams.

    摘要: A heater structure includes a heater body including a burner connected to a valve switch. A pilot fire assembly is covered by a protective cover that has ventilation holes. A switch unit includes an ignition switch, a shut-down switch, an ignition operator, and a shut-down operator. The ignition operator and the shut-down operator are structured to provide a swingable arrangement. The ignition operator may be operated to contact and press the fuel gas valve rod and the ignition switch to open the valve switch for supply fuel gas to the burner and to activate an ignition circuit to cause successive shootings of an ignition pin of the pilot fire assembly to set a flame on the burner. The shut-down operator is operated to contact and press the shut-down switch, so as to cut off a signal of the thermocouple and thus cut off the supply of the fuel gas.

The feed injector includes one or more conduits extending toward a tip portion having an outlet, cooling coil coupled to the tip portion, and a protective shell including a first protective shell portion coupled to a second protective shell portion. The protective shell surrounds the tip portion and at least portions of the one or more conduits and the cooling coil. The feed injector also includes one or more mounting structures disposed along an outer perimeter of the feed injector. The one or more mounting structures may facilitate coupling of the first protective shell portion, the second protective shell portion, and the feed injector.

The bend (128) is angled downward relative to the horizontal axis of the first area (120A) such that a distal end (122) is substantially aligned with the stop (126) and the distal end (122) abuts or rests against the outside portion of test chamber (102) to stabilize and support burner shield (100) during testing.

    摘要: A device for the ornamental display of the interaction of fire and water allowing the spray of a water fountain to be combined with flame from a gas burner is described. The device includes one or more gas burners configured amongst one or more water dispersion assemblies. The water streams from the nozzles of the water dispersion assemblies of the fountain can be directed toward, through, and over the flames originating from the gas burners. The flames originating burners are protected from being extinguished by a water shield. The water shield is positioned in such a manner to influence the characteristics of the flame produced by the burner while still protecting the flames' integrity. The water and fire aspect of the device can operate independently providing a fire source with a reflecting pool or a water fountain absent the flames.

    摘要: The burner arrangement for a gas turbine comprises at least one burner (2), which is arranged in the plenum of the gas turbine and leads with an inner injection space into a combustion chamber and to which compressed air is admitted on the outside from a compressor stage of the gas turbine. Furthermore, a fuel lance (9) for the alternative feeding of liquid and/or gaseous fuels is allocated to the burner (2), which fuel lance (9) has a central liquid-fuel tube (19) and a pilot gas tube (11) concentrically surrounding the liquid-fuel tube (19), the tubes (11, 19) ending in associated outlet openings (22, 23, 23a-c) in a lance head (12) at the tip of the fuel lance (9). In order to provide protection from an ingress of hot gases and/or hot liquid fuel into the outlet openings (22, 23, 23a-c) of the tubes (11, 19) when these tubes are not being used, an additional opening (17) is provided in the lance head (12) in the immediate vicinity of the outlet openings (22, 23, 23a-c), through which additional opening (17) compressed air flows out into the injection space (8). Furthermore, means are provided which direct compressed air from the plenum, surrounding the burner (2), to the additional opening (17).
