摘要： An adapter system that transforms a blowgun into a fishing blowgun is provided. The fishing blowgun adapter system includes a reel mounting system which is used to selectively secure a fishing reel along a barrel of the blowgun. The present invention also embodies a plurality of fishing line eye guides spaced apart the barrel from largest to smallest at or near the distal end of the blowgun. Furthermore, using the fishing line eye guides instead of a fishing rod (prior art) eliminates the danger of spring-loaded backlashes of earlier makeshift solutions. Once the fishing blowgun adapter system has been operatively associated with the blowgun, the transformation into a fishing blowgun is complete.

摘要： A water penetrating blowgun dart is provided. The blowgun dart has a funnel removably attached to a tail end of the dart shaft so that upon contact with a water surface, the funnel moves from an engaged configuration to a disengaged configuration. The tail end may provide a slot for snugly receiving an eye, wherein the tail end and the eye have cooperating grooves so that when in the engaged configuration, the eye and tail end are secured with a filament that slightly protrudes from the flush outer surface of the shaft and eye. The protruding filament frictionally engages the funnel in the engaged configuration so that the funnel remains engaged with the shaft prior to hitting the water's surface.

摘要： A projectile launcher comprising an elongate barrel provided with a bore, a magnetic detent, an associated discarding sabot, and an associated subcaliber projectile. Pending launch, the magnetic detent exerts a magnetic restraining influence to hold the subcaliber projectile inside the bore within proximity of the sabot. 摘要： An apparatus for efficiently and accurately launching subcaliber projectiles comprises: an elongate barrel; an associated discarding sabot; and an associated subcaliber projectile. In one embodiment, the sabot includes a registration means adapted to limit lateral displacement of the projectile while simultaneously permitting the projectile to touch the inner surface of the bore of the barrel. An alternative embodiment includes a magnetically attractable portion incorporated into the projectile and a magnetic detent for holding the projectile within the barrel bore in readiness for launching. 摘要： A hunting or target practice blow gun includes a source of pressurized air or gas and a breath operated valve for connecting the pressurized gas to the blow gun tube to propel a dart or projectile with a force and velocity greater than is possible when using the user's breath alone. No direct connection exists between the mouthpiece and the blow gun tube, and no danger exists of the user swallowing the dart. Target practice darts of 10 to 15 grains may be shot up to 1000 ft. using a canister of gas pressurized to 120 psi.

摘要： A blowgun assembly and associated darts capable of long range accurate target application, comprising an elongate launching tube of exceptionally light weight, high rigidity, and dimensional stability along with an associated mouthpiece and a dart quiver affixed to the tube. The darts comprise a metallic wire shaft with an affixed bulbous member at the rear end which serves as an air piston for dart propulsion and also as a stabilizing member during flight of the dart. The blowgun is proportioned so that the dart is propelled by a brief comfortable puff of air into the mouthpiece by the user, without significant strain. Therefore the blowgun assembly is extremely comfortable to use and very accurate so that its sporting use in very enjoyable.
