摘要： A projectile deployment system includes an entangling projectile having a pair of pellets and a tether connecting the pellets. A projectile casing carries the entangling projectile and has a pair of sockets, each socket sized to carry one of the pellets. Each of the sockets is substantially parallel with the horizontal plane and at least a portion of each of the sockets is held at differing vertical elevations when the projectile launcher is held in the firing orientation. The sockets are oriented at an acute angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the projectile casing such that the pellets travel apart from one another as they are expelled from the projectile casing. A launcher carries the projectile casing and a selectively activatable pressure source is operably coupled to the projectile casing and is capable of expelling the entangling projectile from the projectile casing toward a subject.

The first spring loaded spool and the second spring loaded spool are disposed on opposite sides of a common open area. Likewise, at least one second elastic element is at least partially wound around the second spring loaded spool. A first termination is coupled to each first elastic element. The first termination extends into the common open area. Likewise, a second termination is coupled to each second elastic element. The second termination extends into the common open area. The first termination and the second termination selectively interconnect with the toy projectile.

摘要： A toy projectile launcher includes a body having a magazine for storing at least one cylindrical projectile. The body has an elongate barrel in communication with the magazine. The barrel is shaped for travel of the projectile from the magazine to an exit end. The barrel has an intermediate opening between the magazine and the exit end. A drive wheel is powered by a motor to spin about an axis of rotation. The drive wheel can be coupled to the body by a drive wheel biasing member. The drive wheel intrudes into the barrel though the intermediate opening to contact and propel the projectile down the barrel. The drive wheel can include a resilient part. The axis of rotation of the drive wheel can deviate from being perpendicular to the length of the barrel by a predetermined angle selected to impart spin to the projectile.

摘要： A dehydrated, pulp-based projectile is described. The projectile is pulp material that is molded and dehydrated into a projectile shape to form the dehydrated, pulp-based projectile. In operation, the pulp-based projectile can be positioned within the bullet chamber (e.g., gun clip) of a toy gun and then rehydrated. For example, the toy gun or bullet chamber can be dipped in water, which would cause the projectile to absorb the water and soften. An advantage to being pulp based is that the projectile is more solid than foam and, as such, generally shoots straighter and further than foam However, when rehydrated, the projectile has the propensity to stick to its target as it becomes pliable and sticky through rehydration.

摘要： The present invention relates to a product comprising a preparation for mixture with a solvent to form a squirtable polymer solution for use in squirt devices. The preparation comprises a polymer thickening agent in combination with a mixing material. The thickening agent and mixing material are selected and formulated so that said product retains its homogeneity during storage of at least 1 week and that the mixing material is selected and formulated so that the preparation does not form lumps dissolved in a solvent.
