摘要: A non-linear optical pumping detection apparatus and a non-linear optical absorption cross-section measurement method, which can simultaneously measure degenerate and non-degenerate two-photon absorption cross-section spectra. The measurement process is automatic, efficient and fast. The working wavelength band is from 380 nm to near infrared 1064 nm, and the non-linear performance measurement of the super-continuous wide spectra can be realized. A zoom optical system with a larger entrance pupil diameter is adopted as a weak signal acquisition lens. So the weak signal can be effectively extracted from background noise. Meanwhile, the mean square root diameter of an on-axis image point of the zoom optical system is 100 to 150 microns, the divergence angle 2α of the on-axis image point is 30.6 degrees, which well match the optical fiber coupling condition, thereby improving the coupling efficiency of the space light coupling into the optical fiber, and greatly improving the measurement sensitivity.

摘要: A low magnification mode of operation of a multiple field of view optical system is based on off-axis reflective afocal assemblies with a common optical exit pupil and having a common mechanical axis of rotation which provides both field of view switching and image de-roll functions. A reflective afocal switching assembly permits variable fields of view while at the same time providing a common axis and mechanism to achieve an optical de-roll of the image. This complex arrangement provides a relatively large change in magnification for an all-reflective optical system than can image over 0.4-12.0 micron spectrum.

摘要: An example method includes recording dark images on an image sensor on-board an orbital vehicle during flight, which include a first image recorded before the orbital vehicle is over a predefined location on the Earth and a second image recorded after the orbital vehicle is over the predefined location; and recording third and fourth images on the image sensor during flight based on illumination from a light source that is on-board, with the third image being recorded before the orbital vehicle is over the predefined location and the fourth image being recorded after the orbital vehicle is over the predefined location. A fifth image is recorded on the image sensor during flight while the predefined location on the Earth is visible to the image sensor. The fifth image is based on light from a ground-based calibration system. The light source is calibrated during flight based on the five images.
