摘要： A device and method for three-dimensional (3-D) imaging using a defocusing technique is disclosed. The device comprises a lens, a central aperture located along an optical axis for projecting an entire image of a target object, at least one defocusing aperture located off of the optical axis, a sensor operable for capturing electromagnetic radiation transmitted from an object through the lens and the central aperture and the at least one defocusing aperture, and a processor communicatively connected with the sensor for processing the sensor information and producing a 3-D image of the object. Different optical filters can be used for the central aperture and the defocusing apertures respectively, whereby a background image produced by the central aperture can be easily distinguished from defocused images produced by the defocusing apertures.

摘要： A superimposing image apparatus for superimposing a first view on a second view, including an optical imaging system which has a given focal length, an image plane and given field of view which encompasses the second view, and an arrangement for translationally moving a first mirror within the aforesaid field of view and positioned so as to project at least a part of the first view into the lens system, superimposed on the second view.In accordance with a second feature, there is provided a superimposed image apparatus wherein at least one of the first and second views is disposed at the given focal length of the lens system.In accordance with still another feature, there is provided superimposing image apparatus which includes a second mirror disposed outside the field of view for reflecting the first view onto the first mirror.In accordance with yet another feature, there is provided a superimposing image apparatus wherein the translation apparatus for translationally supporting the first mirror has at least one linear axis of translation.The invention may further include apparatus wherein the translation apparatus has a sheet of transparent material for mounting the first mirror, wherein the sheet of transparent material is attached to the apparatus for translationally moving the first mirror, and the invention may optionally include apparatus wherein the first mirror is partially transparent and/or tinted.

摘要： A camera can create a combined image on the film with two different light sources, and it comprises a slide projecting device mounted between the camera lens and the camera body. Upon inserting a mask and a slide transparency into the slide projecting device, the subject image on the slide will be projected and merged with external image coming through the camera lens to form a combined image on the film without using darkroom montage technique or photo studio facilities; it is particularly useful and convenient for a sight-seeing traveller to put his (or her) own portrait against a landscape or architecture background without bothering other people to take a picture for him (or her) or using a tripod.

摘要： For portrait studio use with motorized, electrically operated flash cameras, a front projection apparatus provides a selection of background slides which may be pre-viewed. In taking the picture, chance misalignment of the selected slide is prevented, and the background selected is projected at high intensity. A slide box is transported in a tunnel parallel to the horizontal axis of the projector. A slide injector moves a slide laterally from the tunnel to the optical axis; when in proper position, circuit is made permitting operation of the camera shutter and magazine. Optimum intensity of the projected background is obtained, without a separate reflector for the flash, by positioning the flash tube immediately in front of a pre-viewing lamp having an integral bowl-type reflector.
