    摘要: A transmit-receive (T/R) switch for coupling a TDD transceiver to an antenna. The T/R switch comprises 1) a first circulator having a first port for receiving a transmit signal from the transceiver during transmit mode, a second port for sending the transmit signal to the antenna during transmit mode and receiving a received signal from the antenna during receive mode, and a third port for sending the received signal towards the transceiver during receive mode. The T/R switch further comprises 2) a second circulator having a first port for receiving the received signal from the third port of the first circulator during receive mode and a second port for sending the received signal towards the transceiver during receive mode, and 3) a termination load coupled to a third port of the second circulator. The circulators divert RF energy reflected from the antenna during transmit mode into the termination load.

    摘要: A transceiver 400 is provided in an ultrawide bandwidth device, which includes an antenna 110, a transmitter circuit 145, and a receiver circuit 165. A transmitter amplifier 440 is provided between the antenna 110 and the transmitter circuit 145, and is configured to have an operational transmitter output impedance when the transceiver 400 is in a transmit mode and an isolation transmitter output impedance when the transceiver 400 is in a receive mode. A receiver amplifier 460 is provided between the antenna 110 and the receiver circuit 165, and is configured to have an operational receiver input impedance when the transceiver 400 is in a receive mode and an isolation receiver input impedance when the transceiver 400 is in a transmit mode. The isolation transmitter output impedance is greater than the operational receiver input impedance, and the isolation receiver input impedance is greater than the operational transmitter output impedance. Thus, a transmitter and receiver can be isolated without using a transmit/receive switch.

In order to optimally utilize the offered electric power and ensure the supplying of power to large consuming devices, such as the windshield heating system, a separate priority is in each case assigned to the several electric consuming devices, and the electric consuming devices are supplied as a function of their respective priority, so that the sum of the consuming device powers does not exceed a defined power value of the generator.

    摘要: A SPDT switch includes an antenna port. A transmitter section is coupled to a transmitter port. The transmitter section includes a plurality of transistors that are coupled in series relative to each other. A receiver section is coupled to a receiver port. The receiver section includes a plurality of transistors that are coupled in series relative to each other, so that when the transmitter section transmits high power to the antenna port, the receive section is effectively off to provide isolation to the receive port. The receiver port is coupled to the receiver section using at least one external capacitor. The at least one external capacitor is used to improve the power handling capability and harmonic performance of the switch.
