    摘要: An autostereoscopic device and a method for generating an autostereoscopic image are disclosed. The device includes a substrate, a first image-forming layer disposed on the substrate, a second image-forming layer, a light-transmissive layer positioned between the first image-forming layer and the second image-forming layer, and an addressing unit. The addressing unit is used to substantially simultaneously adjust the first image-forming layer and the second image-forming layer in order to generate an autostereoscopic image. The image-forming layers may be thermally sensitive or they may include capsules containing electrophoretically responsive particles.

    摘要: The present disclosure discloses a display panel and a display apparatus. The display panel comprises a first display region and a driving circuit. The first display region comprises at least two sets of display units, each set of display units comprising at least one display unit. All the display units of the first display region are configured to generate light rays that are to be converged onto a same eye of a user. All the display units that belong to a same set of display units are configured to generate light rays that are to be converged onto a same viewpoint of a same eye of the user, and the display unit that belong to different sets of display units are configured to generate light rays that are to be converged respectively onto different viewpoints of a same eye of the user. The driving circuit drives the display units of the at least two sets of display units, so that the at least two sets of display units display pictures representing a same scene to be displayed and viewed at the respective viewpoints.

The parallax image projected through the optical system has less distortion than the planar image projected through the optical system.

    摘要: A virtual window display includes: a plurality of collimated projector modules having contiguous exit pupils. Each collimated projector module includes: a display device configured to display a spatially modulated image along a flat or curved geometric image surface, and one or more optical lenses sharing a common curvature symmetry axis and configured to optically collimate light from the display device in the collimated projector module. The curvature symmetry axes of the plurality of collimated projector modules point in a plurality of angular directions and are substantially convergent along at least one axis at a finite distance from the plurality of collimated projectors. The total display FOV of the virtual window display is larger than the module FOV of each of the plurality of collimated projector modules.
