摘要: Systems and methods for rendering a 3D image are provided. The system receives texture and depth data (depth map) for an image. The system generates, based on the image data, a plurality of folded focal planes matrices. For each respective pixel matrix, the system preprocesses pixel values in the respective focal pixel plane matrix to generate a respective preprocessed matrix, wherein the respective preprocessed matrix clusters together pixel values of the respective folded focal plane matrix based on the depth data for the image. The system generates phase functions based on a plurality of the preprocessed matrices. The system configures a spatial light modulator of the SLM device in accordance with the generated phase functions. The system then provides the plurality of the preprocessed matrices as input to the SLM device to generate for display a 3D representation of the received image data.

A slit area of the parallax barrier method is formed by an image obtained by forming an image of the illumination light from the strip-shaped light sources on the back surface side of the image display surface by using the optical members of the image forming unit.

摘要: A 3D display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. Metal nanowires perpendicular to each other are provided at the TFT glass substrate side and the CF glass substrate side. The metal nanowires can realize inherent function of polarizers at the TFT glass substrate side and the CF glass substrate side, and can also make the emitted light into stripe-shaped polarized light perpendicular to each other. Therefore, the polarizers, the λ/2 phase retarder with stripes, and the polarizers with stripes and perpendicular polarization that are originally at the TFT glass substrate side and the CF glass substrate side in a 3D polarizer display are excluded. The thickness of the 3D display device is made thinner. Moreover, according to the structural design, polarization effect is not limited by wavelength range of the light. Therefore, 3D stereoscopic display effect is greatly enhanced.

摘要: An integrated image display device includes a display unit, a lens array layer, and a baffle assembly. The baffle assembly includes a first baffle layer and a second baffle layer. The first baffle layer includes a plurality of first baffles, and a first transmission portion is formed between each two adjacent ones of the first baffles. The second baffle layer includes a plurality of second baffles, and a second transmission portion is formed between each two adjacent ones of the second baffles. Portions of the first transmission portions overlapped with the second transmission portions form a plurality of light transmission units. An un-reconstructed image displayed by the display surface can be reconstructed by the lens array layer, and be recombined into an integrated image to form a stereo image.

摘要: A stereoscopic display device having a barrier panel is provided. The barrier panel may include channel electrodes across an active area. Each of the channel electrodes may include an end portion connected to corresponding link line. Each of the channel electrodes may be connected to the link line same as (n+1)th channel electrode from the channel electrode. The barrier panel may further include connecting lines to connect between opposite end portions of the channel electrode which are connected to the same link line. Thus, in the stereoscopic display device, the number of the wires extending along an edge of the active area may be reduced.
