    摘要: An autostereoscopic 3D display assembly includes pixels configured to generate a first image intended for a user's left eye, and a second image intended for a user's right eye. Each of the images is projected with a respective line pattern, where the bright portions of the left eye line pattern alternate with the bright portions of the right eye line pattern. The left eye and right eye line patterns are formed using a grating or a double grating. In one embodiment, right eye pixels and left eye pixels each include a double grating, with a different offset between the first grating and second grating to generate the different line patterns. In another embodiment, right eye pixels and left eye pixels each include a grating and one or more micro-LEDs, with a different offset between the grating and the micro-LEDs to generate the different line patterns.

    摘要: A three-dimensional display device includes a display panel, a parallax barrier, an acquisition section, a memory, and a controller. The display panel is configured to display a parallax image and emit image light corresponding to the parallax image. The parallax barrier includes a surface configured to define a direction of image light. The acquisition section is configured to acquire positional data indicating eye positions from a detection device which is configured to detect eye positions based on photographed images which are acquired from a camera which is configured to image user's eyes. The memory is configured to store the positional data which are acquired by the acquisition section. The controller is configured to output predicted eye positions based on the positional data stored in the memory, and cause the display panel to display the parallax image, based on the predicted eye positions. The controller is configured to generate a left-eye image and a right-eye image based on a first predicted eye position, and combine the left-eye image and the right-eye image into a parallax image based on a second predicted eye position, which is different from the first predicted eye position.

    摘要: A multiview autostereoscopic display includes a display area including an array of angular pixels, an eye tracker, and a processing system. Each angular pixel emits color that varies across a field of view of that angular pixel. The array of angular pixels displays different views in different viewing zones across the field of view of the display. The eye tracker detects the presence of the eyes of at least one viewer within specific viewing zones and produces eye tracking information including locations of the detected eyes within the specific viewing zones. The processing system renders a specific view for each detected eye based upon the location of the detected eye within the viewing zone with detected eyes, and generates control information for the array of angular pixels to cause the specific view for each detected eye to be displayed in the viewing zone in which that eye was detected.

    摘要: An image projection apparatus includes a projection light emission unit, a first optical element, a second optical element, and an optical system. The projection light emission unit has a display surface with a first region and a second region arranged in an x direction. The first optical element reflects first projection light from the first region. The second optical element reflects the first projection light reflected by the first optical element and transmits second projection light from the second region. The optical system projects the first and the second projection light. The first direction corresponds to a direction in which both eyes are aligned when the first projection light and the second projection light are projected into the user's field of view. The display surface includes subpixels constituting one pixel arranged in the first direction and subpixels constituting different pixels in a second direction that intersects the first direction.

    摘要: A display device has a display panel for displaying a composite image to allow a viewer to see a 3D image. The composite image has a plurality of right and left image strips alternately arranged. The display device also has camera to monitor a viewing position of a viewer. The camera has a camera lens and a sensor with a plurality of right sensor zones and left sensor zones to capture the viewer's right eye and left eye images. When the viewer is at a viewing position that the 3D image viewed by the viewer appears pseudostereoscopic, the viewer's right eye image is in one of the left sensor zones and left eye image is in one of the right sensor zones. A processor changes the order of the right and left image strips so that the viewer can see a orthostereoscopic image at that viewing position.
