    摘要: The improved dual-entry radial compressor rotor of the present invention has two sets of alternating full length and partial length blades on a symmetrical hub, with the partial length blades on one hub side terminating at the rotor high velocity exit coincident with the full length blades on the other hub side, to smooth the gas velocity profile in the tangential direction. Aerodynamically shaped sawtooth-profiled reliefs are provided in the hub radial portion between the blade tips to allow induced pressure differentials between the flow paths to smooth the axial velocity profile.

    摘要: The invention comprises an improved rotary apparatus comprising an outer body member having an internal generally axially directed first thrust area. An inner body member is mounted within the outer body member for relative rotation of the two body members. The inner body member has a second generally axially directed thrust area generally opposed to the first thrust area. The body members define fluid passageways and the thrust areas define a fluid-receiving space therebetween in communication with the passageways. First and second annular seals of differing diameters seal between the thrust areas, and a thrust control system is provided for selectively varying the fluid pressure in the annular portion of the fluid-receiving space bounded by the two seals by selectively providing pressure equalizing communication between that portion and a plurality of zones of differing pressures external to the annular portion.

    摘要: A winnowing blower for discharging a stream of air over the sieve of a combine harvester-thresher has an axially elongated housing formed at each of its axial ends with an inlet opening provided with an axial-flow fan. A shaft passing axially through the housing carries these two fans and two deflector disks spaced inwardly from the fans and each of a diameter substantially less than the respective fan. The housing is provided with a radially extending plenum chamber so that air drawn axially into the ends of the housing is partially deflected by these plates and ejected outwardly through the plenum chamber over the sieve of the combine.

    摘要: A fan mechanism includes fan units having fan panels, motors mounted inwardly of said fan panels, fans positioned inwardly of the fan panels and driven by the motors, where a pair of vertical rails is mounted on both sides of each of discharge openings inwardly of the front plate so that the inner portions thereof face each other, panel retainers are attached inwardly to the lower portions of the discharge openings, press portions are formed at upper portions of both sides of the fan panels, both sides of each fan panel are pushed down into the vertical rails downward from above while being guided by the pair of vertical rails, the lower edge of the fan panel rides on the panel retainer, and the press portions are pushed down into the vertical rails, so that the fan panel is pressed against the inside of the front plate.
