摘要: An energy-producing system comprising an axle configured to be driven by an electric vehicle's wheels when in motion. The axle supports a series of wind-catching cups contained within an aerodynamic housing configured to direct air to the cups while also increasing the air speed. During vehicle motion, the cups are acted upon by rushing air causing the rotation of the axle such that the rotation may be transferred into energy via a generator/alternator linked thereto. A series of similarly polarized magnets integrated on said cups and/or spacers and/or housing proximate thereto further maintain the axle in motion during short vehicle stops. The system extends the life of the batteries between charges as well the distance the vehicle can travel between charges. A power controller is configured to distribute power from said generator to an axle drive motor, vehicle drive motor and/or start-up battery pack.

摘要: A span-wise extending pin for joining blade segments of a rotor blade includes a distal portion having a length defined by a first end and an opposing, second end. The distal portion has a conical shape extending for at least a portion of the length thereof for providing ease of insertion of the pin into a pin joint slot of one of the first and second blade segments. The pin also includes a pin portion adjacent to the distal portion. The pin portion includes a first section and a second section. The second section is configured for securing within a beam structure of the first blade segment. The first section extends span-wise from a receiving end of the beam structure. The pin also includes a proximal portion having at least a rod member that extends span-wise through and secures together the pin portion and the distal portion.

The shovels called “working” shovels have wind-permeable structure 2. On one side of the shovels is formed a working surface. It is formed on same side of all working shovels by a flag or flags 1 of which the structure limits the capability to take the direction of the air flow, meeting with this side of the shovels. By this surface, the shovels catch the wind energy and convert it to a rotational motion of the rotor. The shovel's load and the rotor speed can be regulated.

摘要: A wind power generation device includes a wind blocking structure, which is in a box-shaped structure fixed on ground by a bottom plane thereof; a wind vane rotating body including a rotating shaft and vanes fixed on the rotating shaft and arranged at equal angle intervals, wherein the rotating shaft is mounted on two bearings of the wind blocking structure, and the vanes are rotatable inside the box-shaped structure; a power generator connected to the rotating shaft and fixed on the box-shaped structure by a linking plate. When wind blows to the wind blocking structure to rotate the wind vane rotating body, the power generator is driven by the rotating shaft to generate electrical power. The wind power generation device can include at least two wind vane rotating bodies, or area enlarging structures added on the vanes, to increase windward areas of the vanes.

摘要: Disclosed is an air concentration tower for a vertical axis wind turbine. The air concentration tower has a polygonal outer perimeter, a pivot located at each vertex of the polygonal outer perimeter, and an inwardly-positioned rudder blade operatively connected at each pivot. Each inwardly-positioned rudder blade has a first wind-neutral position, and is pivotable through a plurality of angles that adjust based on an incoming wind direction, such that the incoming wind is channeled to the vertical axis wind turbine, which is located approximately at a center area of the polygonal outer perimeter. The air concentration tower is designed to provide higher wind speed to the vertical axis wind turbine than the surrounding ambient air.

摘要: A vertical axis windmill system for interacting with ground level winds has a plurality of vertical windmill units. Each vertical windmill unit includes a rotation unit and outer rings. The rings are secured to the vertical support columns. The rotation unit has a plurality of blades equally spaced around a rotatable center shaft. Each blade has a plate extending from the central shaft to an outer end. The plate has a curvature from an upper edge to the lower edge. Each of the blades has a plurality of openings. A plurality of flaps are pivotably mounted to the blade to move from an open position allowing air through the plurality of openings to a closed position limiting air through the plurality of openings. The system has a generator for converting the rotation motion of the rotatable central shaft to electrical energy.

One or more photovoltaic cells are in communication with the blade assembly for photovoltaic energy generation, either alone or in combination, with the torque. A means to integrate and combine the photovoltaic energy generating photovoltaic cells into the wind capturing blade assembly.
