Abstract: A composite vehicle lamp includes: a lamp unit; and a lamp housing configured to house a plurality of the lamp units. Each of the plurality of the lamp units has: a light source; and an optical system configured to emit light from the light source in a desired light distribution. The plurality of the lamp units includes: one light-guide-type lamp unit having a light guide; and another light-guide-type lamp unit having another light guide whose form is different from that of the one light-guide-type lamp unit. The one light-guide-type lamp unit and the another light-guide-type lamp unit are turned on as lamps having the same function.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, disclosed is a lamp module for a vehicle, the lamp module including: a first light source and a second light source for forming two or more types of light distribution patterns; and a light guide unit provided on one side of the first light source and the second light source. The first light source is provided behind the light guide unit and faces a rear surface portion of the light guide unit, and the second light source is provided below the light guide unit and faces a lower surface portion of the light guide unit. The light emitted from the first light source is emitted to the outside to form a first light distribution pattern, and the light emitted from the second light source is emitted to the outside to form a second light distribution pattern.

The support contains at least one locating pin and the locating orifice while the optical unit has the other locating pin and locating orifice. The locating pins include two facing parts where one of the parts is identified as the rigid part, and the other of the parts is identified as the flexible part, where the one part is more rigid than the other of the two facing parts.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus for generating fiber delivered laser-induced white light. The apparatus includes a package case enclosing a board member with an electrical connector through a cover member and a laser module configured to the board member inside the package case. The laser module comprises a support member, at least one laser diode device configured to emit a laser light of a first wavelength, a set of optics to guide the laser light towards an output port. Additionally, the apparatus includes a fiber assembly configured to receive the laser light from the output port for further delivering to a light head member disposed in a remote destination. A phosphor material disposed in the light head member receives the laser light exited from the fiber assembly to induce a phosphor emission of a second wavelength for producing a white light emission substantially reflected therefrom for various applications.
