Abstract: A method for transmitting flight parameters of a lead aircraft to an intruder aircraft. Transmission includes a collision avoidance system connected to which is a flight parameter transmission authorization system having a database including coordinates defining a volume of confidence smaller than the monitoring volume. The flight parameter transmission authorization system of the lead aircraft authorizes, only for an intruder aircraft identified as flying within the volume of confidence, transmission of at least one flight parameter of the lead aircraft, such that this intruder aircraft is able to calculate the position of centers of wake vortices generated by the lead aircraft or the flow strength of the wake vortices. Exchanging flight parameters of the lead aircraft only with intruder aircraft flying within the volume of confidence with limited dimensions makes it possible not to exceed the maximum capacity of the bandwidth of the automated communication.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for recovering organic fibers from a composite material comprising a polymer matrix and organic fibers, wherein the method comprises the following steps: providing a solution comprising a mixture of water and alcohol; placing the composite material inside a reactor; contacting the mixture and the composite material in order to perform a solvolysis reaction of the composite material; and recovering the organic fibers; wherein the pressure and the temperature in the reactor are adjusted such as to fall within the homogeneous sub-critical range of the phase diagram, within the super-critical range or near the critical point; and wherein the temperature is lower than the melting temperature of the organic fibers.

Abstract: Method and device for estimating lateral speed and lateral position of an aircraft during a phase where the aircraft is traveling on the ground. The device includes a unit for determining an initial lateral position value, corresponding to lateral position with respect to axis of a runway when touching down on landing, a unit for repetitively determining, at least from runway touch down, current ground speed and a current lateral angular deviation, representing angular deviation between the current route and the heading of the runway, a unit for repetitively computing current lateral speed, from the current ground speed and current lateral angular deviation, a unit for computing a current lateral position, from current lateral speed and initial lateral position, and a link for transmitting the current lateral speed and/or the current lateral position to at least one user system.

Abstract: A nacelle has a fixed cowl and a mobile cowl, which is movable along a translation path between closed and open positions, a window delimited by the fixed cowl and the mobile cowl and open between an airflow and exterior of the nacelle, a reverser flap rotatably mounted to move between closed and open positions, and a drive mechanism configured to control passage of the reverser flap between the closed and open positions as the mobile cowl moves between the closed and open positions. From the closed positions, the drive mechanism assures a translation of the mobile cowl and a rotation of the reverser flap toward their respective open positions. From the open positions, the drive mechanism assures a rotation of the reverser flap and a translation of the mobile cowl toward the closed position. In some embodiments, the nacelle further includes an additional, or second, flap.

Abstract: A flight control computer of an aircraft is likely to operate in a so-called incidence protection mode in which it is configured to compute the deflection orders of an elevator as a function of incidence angle values supplied by a set of incidence probes, so as to keep the incidence angle of the aircraft within a range of acceptable incidence angle values. The flight control computer is configured to, when only one incidence probe is operational: compute a first estimated incidence angle value of the aircraft, by a first estimator and a second estimated incidence angle value of the aircraft, by a second estimator unlike the first estimator; and keep the incidence protection mode activated as long as the incidence angle value supplied by the single operational incidence probe is consistent with at least one out of the first estimated incidence angle value and the second estimated incidence angle value.

Abstract: A system for monitoring scheduled turnaround activities and alerting on time deviation from the scheduled turnaround activities is disclosed. The system includes a ground computing station system, an aircraft on-board system, a cloud, and user interface. The cloud is communicatively coupled to the ground station computing system and the aircraft on-board system. The cloud includes processor and memory. The memory includes an analytics module to obtain actual start and end time stamps associated with scheduled turnaround activities, from touchdown to takeoff of an aircraft, from aircraft on-board systems and a ground station system. The analytics module to determine time deviation of scheduled turnaround activities by analyzing the obtained actual start and end time stamps. The user interface to present each scheduled turnaround activity and determined time deviation of the scheduled turnaround activities.
