Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention is a method by which a terminal reports channel status information (CSI) to a base station in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the steps of: receiving, through an upper layer, information on one CSI process having a first enhanced multiple input multiple output (eMIMO) type and a second eMIMO type; receiving a first channel status information-reference signal (CSI-RS) corresponding to the first eMIMO type; periodically reporting, to the base station, first CSI measured on the basis of the first CSI-RS; receiving a second CSI-RS, which corresponds to the second eMIMO type, beamformed on the basis of the first CSI; and periodically reporting, to the base station, second CSI measured on the basis of the second CSI-RS, wherein a priority of the first CSI is set to be equal to a priority of a CSI-RS resource indicator (CRI).

Abstract: A method for reporting channel state information (CSI) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method includes jointly encoding a rank indicator (RI) and a first precoding matrix indicator (PMI) into an encoded value for a specific CSI report mode; and reporting the encoded value, wherein the RI and the first PMI are jointly encoded into the encoded value in a way that following conditions are satisfied: when the RI is 1 and a codebook index for the first PMI is same as the encoded value, the encoded value is an integer ranging from 0 to 7, when the RI is 2 and the codebook index for the first PMI is the encoded value minus 8, the encoded value is integer ranging from 8 to 15, when the RI is 3 and a first precoding matrix corresponding to the first PMI is an identity matrix.

The method for reporting CSI comprises the steps of: receiving information on a first CSI process and a second CSI process, each of which includes two or more CSI-reference signal (CSI-RS) resources, through an upper layer; and transmitting, to the base station, a first CSI report according to the first CSI process and a second CSI report corresponding to the second CSI process, wherein the second CSI process is configured to have a rank indicator (RI) value that is the same as the RI of the first CSI process, and the numbers of antenna ports for all the CSI-RS resources included in the first CSI process and the second CSI process are the same.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of mapping a demodulation-reference signal (DM-RS) transmitted to a terminal by a base station in a wireless communication system based on multiple antennas. Specifically, the method includes grouping a plurality of DM-RS ports into antenna port groups including a predefined number of DM-RS ports, mapping a DM-RS sequence to two symbol resources of a first slot and two symbol resources of a second slot on one subcarrier, and transmitting the mapped DM-RS sequence to the terminal through the plurality of DM-RS ports, wherein a DM-RS sequence transmitted through DM-RS ports included in the same antenna port group is mapped by applying an orthogonal cover code (OCC) having a length of 2 to the same symbol resource, and the two symbol resources of the first slot correspond to a first antenna port group and the two symbol resources of the second slot correspond to a second antenna port group on the one subcarrier.
