Abstract:
A mounting arrangement for mounting a door or other element to an article of furniture using an existing slide mechanism of the type known for use in drawers, wherein the slide mechanism is hidden from view when the door or other element is in both a closed and in an open position to enhance the aesthetic design of the article of furniture. The slide mechanism is mounted to a rear or interior surface of the article of furniture, and a bracket connects the slide mechanism to a door or other element which is disposed adjacent a front face of the article of furniture. In this manner, the slide mechanism and bracket are hidden from view regardless of the position of the door or other element. In one embodiment, a cabinet with a door connected thereto by hidden slides is provided, and in another embodiment, a display board with covers connected thereto by hidden slides is provided.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rail hidden type window and door system, including a lower window (or door) frame having a rail cover attached on a main window (or door) frame, a rail hidden by the rail cover and formed on a concave portion of a window (or door) of the main window (or door) frame of an inside of an inlet, and inlet gaskets mounted on a surface member and the rail cover; and a lower window (or door) member having a lower portion enhanced by a supporting portion, an extending portion having a roller supporting member on which a roller groove is formed, and a roller device mounted in the roller groove. Accordingly, the window (or door) is not removed from the rail and is stably opened and closed, while keeping the sealing state to minimize heat loss and preventing water from infiltrating into the interior.
Abstract:
A glass run channel assembly for mounting on the door frame of an automotive vehicle and for accommodating a glass run seal and a glass window comprising a glass run channel upper frame, a glass run guide, and a glass run lower frame frame, each having a bottom wall and two side walls disposed on either side of the bottom wall, forming a U-shape. In operation, the lower frame is slidably engaged within the guide until the lower frame converges with a lower frame stop formed by a side wall of the guide. A tab locator is formed in each of the two side walls of the upper frame to guide the guide as it slidably engages within the upper frame. Upon sliding within the upper frame, a channel upper stop formed in a side wall of the guide converges with one of the tab locators on the upper frame locator, thereby preventing the guide from sliding too far into the upper frame.
Abstract:
It comprises an adjusting screw which turn allows adjusting the distance between said rail of the power window device and the lower portion of the door of the vehicle, which threadably extends through the rail of the power window device, or through a piece secured thereto, a fixed nut being provided at one side of said rail, or said piece thereof, and a torsion spring being provided at the other side thereof which ends are clamped against said rail, or said piece, the adjusting screw threadably extending through the door of the vehicle, which is axially retained in position relative to said screw between two closing nuts. It is a simple device wherein the torsion spring allows increasing the necessary torque to move the assembly so that movements towards or away from the power window device relative to the door of the vehicle are carried out more accurately.
Abstract:
An elevator door system for an entrance opening to an elevator cab. The system includes a two-part door having an open position and a closed position. The two-part door includes a first door portion for traversing across and covering a portion of the entrance opening as the two-part door moves between the open position and the closed position of the two-part door. The two-part door also includes a second door portion for traversing across and covering another portion of the entrance opening as the two-part door moves between the open position and the closed position of the two-part door. A header track includes a rail with a door track for guiding movement of the first and the second door portions. The door track is held onto the rail of the header track via an S-shaped spring clip.
Abstract:
The invention provides an elevator door sill assembly for use in elevator systems that have sliding doors. The door sill assembly comprises a sill plate, a support sill located below the sill plate having a rail that presents an inboard sliding surface and an outboard sliding surface. The assembly also comprises a first guiding surface that engages that inboard sliding surface and a second guiding surface that engages the outboard sliding surface. The assembly prevents that bottom of the elevator door from swinging while the door slides opened and closed. The sill assembly and guide system may be used with either hoistway doors or elevator car doors.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a guide device for sliding doors (1) in furniture, particularly for heavy sliding glass doors. The guide device comprises a guide element which is constructed as a cylindrical bar (6) and at least two running rollers (3) which are fastened to the sliding door (1) by fastening elements (5). The bar (6) is fastened to the furniture body (2) by holding elements (7, 17). The running rollers (3) have a running surface (4) such that the running surface (4) rests completely on the bar (6) at the point of contact between the running surface (4) and the bar (6).
Abstract:
A stabilizer clip for a window assembly clip includes a clip body having a generally U-shaped profile. The clip body is preferably sized to be retained in a windowpane run channel assembly. The clip body defines a groove between opposed side walls for slidably receiving an edge of a windowpane. A plurality of pads extends outwardly from the walls. The pads are adapted to slidably engage the windowpane. When the clip body is retained in the windowpane run channel assembly by a mounting means and the windowpane is in an extended position, the pads engage with the windowpane to prevent lateral movement of the windowpane relative to the windowpane run channel assembly.
Abstract:
A track and trolley system for a movable wall system including a plurality of wall panels, including a track mounted to a ceiling with the track including a pair of rails, and a trolley operatively engaging said track. The wall panels are disposed in an open space and are capable of being moved into one of a variety of positions to separate the open space into smaller spaces. The trolley includes at least four wheels and an elongate member projecting downwardly between the wheels and coupled to one of the wall panels; each wheel includes a circumferential groove having an arcuate cross-section sufficiently larger than the rails to define a lubrication zone between the rails and the wheels. The wheels and rails comprise a metallic material such as steel, for increased strain tolerances.
Abstract:
An improved door stop for a sliding door to reduce damage to vehicle tires passing over the door stop includes a vertically oriented housing to be embedded in the floor in alignment with the sliding door. A top block supported by a spring is slidable within the housing. A door guide is mounted to the top surface of the top block and extends above it to engage the bottom of the sliding door when the sliding door is moved to a position above the door stop. The top block remains flush with..the top of the housing and the ground surface when the spring is at rest.
