Abstract: Example implementations relate to difference based configuration editing and rendering. A multi-editor can facilitate the implementation of a change to multiple configurations for multiple devices. Based on the change, the multi-editor can determine sets of operations for the multiple devices. After the sets of operations are applied to the multiple devices, comparisons can be made based on the multiple configurations before the change is implemented and after the change is implemented. Based on the comparisons, differences can be determined for the multiple configurations. Based on the differences, the multi-editor can render the multiple configurations with improved processing efficiency and rendering performance. Furthermore, the multi-editor can determine sets of counter operations based on the differences for implementing an undo command.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to hierarchical rule clustering. The examples disclosed herein access information about a set of rules, where information for an individual rule comprises information about a set of hypershapes associated with the individual rule. A respective hypervolume for each set of hypershapes associated with each individual rule may be calculated based on the accessed information. A first rule and a second rule may be combined as a new individual rule in the set of rules based on overlaps between the calculated hypervolumes.

Abstract: Examples of techniques for dynamically controlling data bursts are described. In an example, an access point (AP) monitors a link quality between the AP and a client device associated with the AP. The AP determines a channel occupancy of a channel in which the AP is configured to operate. In response to determining that the channel occupancy is less than a channel busy threshold, the AP modifies a burst duration for traffic flow between the AP and the client device based on the link quality. The AP communicates with the client device using the channel for the modified burst duration.

Abstract: A system for facilitating an integrated traffic profile for indicating congestion and packet drop is provided. During operation, the system can determine a first traffic profile indicating whether to drop a packet based on the utilization of a queue. The packets from the queue can be forwarded via an egress port reachable via a fabric. The system can also determine a second traffic profile indicating whether to indicate congestion in the packet based on the utilization. The system can then determine a third traffic profile by combining the first and second traffic profiles. The third traffic profile can indicate acceptance at the queue for a subset of packets being selected for dropping based on the utilization. Subsequently, the system can, if the packet is selected for dropping, determine whether to accept the packet at the queue and set a congestion indicator in the packet based on the third traffic profile.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are described that are directed to filter frequency response shift compensation, including compensating for shifting in the rejection band of the filter. Compensation for the shifting in the rejection band can include applying a pre-distortion to attenuate edge resource units (RUs), and applying PHY Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) scheduling schemes. For example, a PPDU scheduling scheme reduce bandwidth in the channel, thereby dropping the out of band RUs. Front ends provide feedback to a respective radio, which allows that radio to apply the appropriate pre-distortion. The front ends can include one or more filters enabling frequency domain coexistence between collocated radios operating in the differing Wi-Fi bands, and a coupler that provides the feedback indicating the frequency response shift to a radio. The radio can then apply a digital pre-distortion to compensate for the shifting in the rejection band.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to a cable management arm for a computing system. The cable management arm includes a pair of latches, a pair of first bars, and a second bar. The pair of latches is detachably connectable to a chassis of the computing system. Each first bar has a first end pivotably connected to a respective latch of the pair of latches, and a second end connected to the second bar for defining an open space therebetween. The open space provides a non-interfering entrance for accessing the one or more electronic components from rear side of the chassis. The second bar supports the cables connected to the one or more electronic components. The pair of first bars is pivotable relative to the pair of latches such that the second bar is movable to a plurality of preset positions for providing the clearance from the cables during service event, for instance.

Abstract: In some examples, a computer system computes a rate of operations that involves a first system, and classifies, using a classifier, a request for an operation. The computer system determines a relationship between the computed rate of operations and a dynamic threshold rate determined during a training phase, and based on the determined relationship and a classification of the request by the classifier, selectively activates or disables an operational feature of the first system.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are network appliances, methods, computer-readable media, and systems for aggregating network traffic statistics in a communication network. For example, the network appliance is to determine a plurality of network flow strings that are transmitted from the network appliance or received at the network appliance; extract a network metric of the plurality of network flow strings; aggregate values associated with the network metric over the plurality of network flow strings; generate an accumulating map, wherein the accumulating map comprises the values associated with the aggregated network metric; when a new network flow string is received, invoke an eviction policy on the new network flow string, wherein the eviction policy removes at least one of the plurality of network flow strings from the accumulating map; and transmit the accumulating map to a network information collector in communication with the network appliance.

Abstract: A system for policy management in a switch is provided. During operation, the system can generate, from a first policy defined for the switch, a second policy. The first policy can indicate whether a type of traffic is allowed from a source role to a destination role via an overlay tunnel. The second policy can indicate a plurality of destination roles that are allowed to receive multi-destination packets of the type of traffic from the source role via the overlay tunnel. Upon identifying a host associated with a role at a port of the switch, the system can determine whether the role belongs to the plurality of destination roles based on the second policy. If the role belongs to the plurality of allowed destination roles, the system can allow the port to forward a multi-destination packet, which is received via the overlay tunnel and associated with the type of traffic.
