    Abstract: A removable filter assembly for filtering a fluid having a particulate or a contaminant and configured to engage a filter housing having a center post. The removable filter assembly includes a filter element adapted to remove at least one of the particulate or contaminate from the fluid, wherein the filter element includes an interior wall defining a passage having a first end and a second end. A container arrangement includes a channel and an outer wall in contact with the filter element at the first end of the passage, wherein the outer wall defines an outer profile extending from the first end of the passage toward the second end of the passage. The channel defines an inner wall configured to provide a relatively fluid tight seal with the center post. The container arrangement is adapted to capture at least one of the particulate or contaminate from the fluid. The outer wall of the container arrangement can include a plurality of radially aligned ribs.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards filter elements whose overall length can be adjusted such that the filter element can be installed through an opening in an air cleaner opening having a relatively smaller dimension than the maximum dimension of the filter element. In one aspect, the filter element can include a radial seal member disposed on a positionable coupling element circumscribing at least a portion of a filter medium pack. The filter element has a first axial length when the positionable coupling element is in an extended position and has a second axial length when the positionable coupling element is in a collapsed position, wherein the first axial length is greater than the second axial length. In some examples, the filter element includes two positionable coupling elements.

    Abstract: Filter media includes a filtration substrate having a first side and a second side, and constructed for filtering a fluid by flow of the fluid therethrough. The filtration substrate has a machine direction extending from a first end to a second end, and a cross direction extending from a first edge to a second edge. The filtration substrate includes a plurality of corrugations extending in the machine direction. The plurality of corrugations include a plurality of first crests formed along the first side and a plurality of second crests formed along the second side. The filtration substrate includes a plurality of bosses along the plurality of first crests or along the plurality of second crests and extending in a direction away from the other of the plurality of first crests or the plurality of second crests.     Abstract: A filter element includes a media pack and a gasket member. The gasket member includes first and second gasket regions separated by a channel. The elements are usable in a dust collector having a dirty air inlet, a clean air outlet, and a tube sheet dividing between an unfiltered and a clean air volume. An element is removably mounted and sealed within the tube sheet. At least one projection angled relative to a plane of the tube sheet extends into the channel of the gasket member. A method of servicing a dust collector includes removing a first filter element from the tube sheet in the housing, and then sealing a second filter element against the tube sheet by orienting at least one projection extending from a plane of the tube sheet into a channel defined by a gasket member secured to the second filter element. An axial force is exerted to form a seal between the gasket member and the tube sheet.
