If the transmitting device receives a deactivation command for the packet duplication function, the PDCP entity submits the PDCP PDU to a single one of the multiple lower layer entities, and the single one of the multiple lower layer entities transmits the PDCP PDU.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for configuring multiple common control channels (CCCHs) in a wireless communication system, specifically in a new radio access technology (NR) system, is provided. A user equipment (UE) configures a first CCCH and a second CCCH. The first CCCH has higher priority than the second CCCH in a logical channel prioritization (LCP) procedure. Upon detecting that data is available for the first CCCH and the second CCCH, the UE constructs a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) including the data, based on a priority of the first CCCH and a priority of the second CCCH, and transmits the MAC PDU to a network.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to random access in mobility in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device comprises: receiving, from a network, skip information for a random access channel (RACH) and information for a revert timer; performing a RACH-less handover to a target cell based on the skip information and starting the revert timer; determining that the RACH-less handover stops while the revert timer is running; and upon an expiry of the revert timer, transmitting a random access preamble with a ramped transmission power, wherein the ramped transmission power is higher than an initial transmission power of the random access preamble.

The UE transitions from the paging DRX with a paging DRX cycle to an inactive DRX with an inactive DRX cycle if the paging message includes an indication that there is downlink data for the UE. The UE monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) using the inactive DRX to receive the downlink data.
