Abstract: A method for monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a discontinuous reception (DRX) related timer by a user equipment (UE) configured not to transmit a Hybrid Automatic Repeat and request (HARQ) feedback for the DL HARQ process in a wireless communication system is disclosed. Especially, when the UE processes the data block, a timer for monitoring subsequent PDCCHs related to retransmission of the DL HARQ process is started without transmitting the HARQ feedback upon a first Physical downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) for the DL HARQ process is detected. Then, while the timer is running, the UE monitors subsequent PDCCHs related to retransmission of the DL HARQ process. Further, when decoding of DL data related to the second PDCCH successes, the timer is stopped and monitoring subsequent PDCCHs for the DL HARQ process is skipped.

Abstract: A method for performing a random access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) starts a downlink (DL) discontinuous reception (DRX) retransmission timer for a DL hybrid automatic repeat and request (HARQ) process of the UE. The UE monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) while the DL DRX retransmission timer for the DL HARQ process is running. The UE stops the DL DRX retransmission timer for the DL HARQ process when the UE receives a PDCCH indicating a uplink (UL) transmission.
