摘要: A processing system (10) and a corresponding method are provided for processing work products (WP), including food items, to locate and quantify voids, undercuts and similar anomalies in the work products. The work products are conveyed past an X-ray scanner (14) by a conveyance device (12). Data from the X-ray scanning is transmitted to control system (18). Simultaneously with the X-ray scanning of the work product, the work product is optically scanned at the same location on the work product where X-ray scanning is occurring. The data from the optical scanner is also transmitted to the control system. Such data is analyzed to develop or generate the thickness profile of the work product. From the differences in the thickness profiles generated from the X-ray scanning data versus the optical scanning data, the location of voids, undercuts and similar anomalies can be determined by the control system. This information is used by the processing system (10) to process the work product as desired, including adjusting for the locations and sizes of voids, undercuts and similar anomalies present in the work product.

The alignment sidewall may include blend zones disposed in the sidewall shaped to transition the sidewall from a ridge to a surface of an optic zone of the optical element. The alignment sidewalls may define a cavity disposed between two coupled optical elements when the alignment sidewalls are cooperatively coupled into which a liquid crystal may be disposed. A method of assembling an ophthalmic device is described. An example method may include aligning a blend zone of a first optical element with a mating blend zone of a second optical element. The example method may further include cooperatively coupling alignment sidewalls of the first optical element and the second optical element.

The devices extend around an axis (X) and include air-distribution means configured to take in air and convey it to the casing. The air-distribution means include a first ramp and a second ramp extending circumferentially about the axis (X), each ramp having air ejection orifices intended to be directed towards the casing in order to cool it The devices further include adjustment means capable of adjusting the flow rate of air ejected at the level of the first ramp with respect to the flow rate of air ejected at the level of the second ramp.

摘要: An imaging system and method for imaging a scene using a rolling shutter are described. In an embodiment, the method includes illuminating a scene with first and second illumination light; generating frame signals with a photodetector comprising a plurality of pixels arranged in a plurality of rows, wherein the frame signals are based on light received from the scene with sequentially integrated rows of pixels of the plurality of rows, and wherein a frame signal includes signals from pixels of each of the plurality of rows; and generating images of the scene based on an intensity of the frame signals and the proportion of the first illumination light and the second illumination light emitted onto the scene during the first and second frames, wherein a proportion of the first illumination light and the second illumination light in a first frame is different than in a second frame.
