摘要： An electrical connector (1) includes an elongated insulative housing (2) and a number of first and second contacts (3, 4). The insulative housing includes a first body portion (23) defining a first and a second pin receiving spaces (231, 232) to receive the second contacts and a second body portion (24). The second body portion includes a base (240), a tongue portion (241) extending forwardly from the base, a pair of end walls (243) located at opposite ends of the tongue portion and a strengthening wall (242) extending from the base and connecting with the pair of end walls. The tongue portion includes a first, a second and a third tongue sections (2413, 2414, 2415). The third tongue section has a thickness greater than each of those of the first and the second tongue sections. The first contacts are grouped into a first, a second and a third sets of first contacts (31, 32, 33) respectively received in the second body portion of the housing.

摘要： An electrical connector assembly includes a receptacle and a plug. The receptacle includes a housing defining two vertical stacked mating slots and a plurality of wafers loaded in the housing. Each wafer includes an upper pair and a lower pair of contacting portions, the upper pairs and the lower pairs of the wafers expose to the slots respectively. Each of the wafers further defines a ground contact with a contacting portion between the upper pair and lower pair of the contacting portions. The plurality of wafers includes pairs of differential signal wafers and ground wafers which are arranged in an alternating sequence in the connecting housing. The plug includes two card edges and a ground plate with a row of contacting pin between the card edges. The contacting pins of the ground plate touch with pairs of ground contacts formed with two adjacent ground contacts in two adjacent wafers.

The first surface defines at least one rib. The plurality of contacts includes a first group of contacts with contacting portions loaded in the first surface at one side of the at least one rib, a second group of contacts with contacting portions loaded in the first surface at another side of the rib and a third group of contacts with contacting portions loaded in the second surface opposite to the at least one rib. Each of the second and third group of contacts is composed of signal contacts and grounding contacts. The grounding contacts of each group unitarily connect with each other by a connecting bar at front distal ends thereof.

The circuit card includes a mating end intended to engage with a complementary connector and a terminal end intended to connect with cables. 摘要： An electrical connector includes an insulated housing and a plurality of contact loaded in the insulated housing. The insulated housing defines an uninterrupted longitudinal slot extending in a first direction and through a mating face in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction the slot having a first and a second inner side faces facing to each other. The first inner side defines a groove extending through the mating face in the second direction. Each contacts includes a retaining portion retained in the insulated housing, a contacting portion exposing in the slot and a tail portion. The contacting portions defines a mating orientation along which the contacting portions contact with corresponding contacts of a counter electrical connector intended to be inserted in the slot. The plurality of contacts includes a first group and a second group of contacts lined along the first side face of the slot at opposite sides of the groove, and a third group, a forth group and a fifth group of contacts lined along the second side face. The third group of contacts are aligned with the groove, the forth group of contacts faces to the first group of contacts and the fifth group of contacts faces to the second group of contacts in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions.
