Abstract: Examples include an apparatus comprising a media path assembly for a printer. The assembly comprises a transmission module configured to be connected to a first motor of the printer and a first roller connected to the transmission module. The first roller is driven by the first motor through the transmission module when pulling a continuous sheet from a roll around a spindle of the printer in a forward direction towards a print zone of the printer. The transmission module is configured to be connected to a second roller of the printer, the second roller being driven by the first motor through the transmission module when pulling a cut sheet from a cut sheet tray of the printer in a forward direction towards the print zone.

Abstract: An example apparatus to produce a three-dimensional object comprises a controller, a build area configured to receive a layer of particulate material, a printhead, and an ultraviolet light emitting diode energy source. The controller is to cause the printhead to deposit a liquid which absorbs ultraviolet radiation onto the layer of particulate material. The controller is further to cause the ultraviolet light emitting diode energy source to irradiate the liquid, after the liquid has been deposited onto the layer of particulate material, thereby to heat the liquid and cause a portion of the particulate material to solidify.

Abstract: A non-limiting example method for control of fluid ejection from a microfluidic device includes firing a microfluidic ejector of a microfluidic device to expel a fluid from a channel of the microfluidic device. In response to detecting an instance of signal change from an impedance sensor disposed in the channel, the method includes controlling fluid ejection from the microfluidic ejector and capturing an image of the channel with an imaging apparatus. Using the captured image, a determination is made as to whether passage of a cell into the channel is associated with the instance of signal change from the impedance sensor. Based on the determination, the microfluidic ejector may fire to dispense the fluid from the channel into a reservoir.

Abstract: In an example, a method includes receiving, by at least one processor, object model data describing a geometry of at least part of at least one object to be generated using additive manufacturing. The object model data defines a first geometrical transformation to be applied to the object model data. It may be determined if a second geometrical transformation is to be applied to the object model data. If a second geometrical transformation is to be applied, the first and second geometrical transformations may be applied to the object model data to determine modified object model data. Otherwise, the first geometrical transformation may be applied to the object geometry to determine modified object model data.

Abstract: A device includes at least one well to receive a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) mixture with the at least one well including a bottom and side walls. The bottom includes an electrically resistive sheet including at least one opening and to receive a signal from a signal source to generate heat to cause a pulse-controlled amplification, thermal cycling zone in close thermal proximity to the resistive sheet. The side walls comprise a polymer material and a fluoropolymer component to cause the PCR mixture to form a contact angle of at least 45 degrees relative to the side walls. An optical detector is alignable with the at least one opening to detect fluorophores as an output of the PCR mixture.

Based on the error information not being stored in the CRUM apparatus, an availability of a refill operation of the toner cartridge is identified based on a predetermined first reference value and an amount of toner detected in the toner cartridge, and, based on the error information being stored in the CRUM apparatus, the availability of the refill operation of the toner cartridge is identified based on a predetermined second reference value and the amount of toner detected in the toner cartridge.
