摘要： In embodiments, a system and method for providing a lifecycle for information in virtual content repository (VCR) are provided. A method embodiment includes defining a plurality states and one or more transitions to interconnect and impose an order on the plurality of states, wherein the information can be in a first state of the plurality of states and can transition to a second state of the plurality of states according to a first transition of the one or more transitions, wherein the information is accessible through a logical namespace that encompasses the VCR; and, wherein the information can include at least one of: content and schema information.

摘要： In an exemplary method, a request is received to save an overlay document that comprises content for an overlay. Graphics commands for the overlay document are also received. The graphics commands are stored in an overlay file. The format of the overlay file is both application independent and device independent. A request is received to print a base document. In response to the request, the graphics commands in the overlay file are rendered, thereby creating printing commands for the overlay document. The printing commands for the overlay document are merged with the base document's printing commands, thereby creating a printing command stream. The printing command stream is sent to a printing device.

摘要： A wireless network locator device with a directional antenna and network adaptor. When the directional antenna is deployed, it allows the users to pinpoint the source of the RF signals. The network locator also has a network adaptor circuit to allow the users to readily connect to the RF source, using the same locator device. The network adaptor can be connected to the laptop through its USB connector, which also allows the locator device to re-charge itself when connected.

摘要： In an exemplary method, a driver for a printing device receives a print job that comprises a document. The driver generates multiple samples that simulate the appearance of at least a portion of the document with different values for at least one print setting. The driver provides a visual presentation of the multiple samples on an output medium of an output device. The output device may be a display device, a printing device, etc. The driver juxtaposes the multiple samples on the output medium. When a user selects one of the multiple samples, the driver receives notification of the sample that was selected. In response, the driver configures the at least one print setting in accordance with the selected sample.
