Abstract: A hosted system provides any Internet user with the ability to quickly set up and customize a video channel, preferably as a web page or site that can be reached from any Internet-accessible device having a browser. The solution includes tools for use by channel site creators to customize look, feel, and page design. A particular web page or site may be associated with a given subject. A page or site that has such an association is sometimes referred to as “subject-specific.” Once a subject-specific channel is created, a site administrator or individual visitors can search and choose to bring those search results into the channel architecture. The system also enables a multiplatform search, and search results may be automatically populated into the channel content. The system enables the characterization of the material returned, preferably according to a user-generated taxonomy.

Abstract: A location database is maintained with information regarding each of a number of different geographical items in different locations. A user database is also maintained with user records for various users, each user record comprising the user's identification data. In addition, in at least one of the location database and the user database, an identification is maintained of different geographical items which each user has visited. Geographical-item-to-geographical-item similarities are defined between different geographical items based on the user database. User-to-user similarities between the users are defined based on the user database. A weighted combination of the defined geographical-item-to-geographical-item and user-to-user similarities is computed and particularly relevant geographical items in a given location are identified to a user based on the weighted combination.

Abstract: A method is provided for filling needleless injector capsules with liquid drug, which eliminates or reduces trapped air bubbles in the drug. A two-stage vacuum method is disclosed which enables the capsule to be evacuated rapidly to very low pressure prior to filling.
