摘要： A liquid crystal display device has an improved end reinforcing structure of a chassis. The liquid crystal display device comprises: a liquid crystal panel for realizing an image; a backlight unit for irradiating a backlight on the liquid crystal panel; a mold frame for storing the backlight unit; a first chassis for supporting the mold frame and including a hemming processor which is bent at an end of the first chassis so as to have a double thickness; and a reinforcing member installed so that the thickness of the hemming processor is increased. Accordingly, the intensity of the end of the first chassis may be increased, thereby guaranteeing strong durability against an external shock.

摘要： The present invention generally relates to a backlight unit having improved luminance and uniformity, and a liquid crystal display (LCD) including the backlight unit. A backlight unit according to the invention comprises a light source and a light guide panel having a light receiving portion which receives light emitted from the light source and which has a pattern including a plurality of protrusions. Each of the protrusions has inclined surfaces forming an angle with respect to the tangential direction of the light receiving portion. The inclined surfaces include a first inclined surface relatively close to the center of the light receiving portion and a second inclined surface relatively close to the edge of the light receiving portion. A first inclination angle formed by the first inclined surface with respect to the tangential direction of the light receiving portion is smaller at the edge of the light receiving portion than at the center of the light receiving portion.

摘要： A home network system for supporting continuity of data transfer destined for an MS (Mobile Station) when the MS moves between wireless nodes, comprising a server for storing multimedia data and a network connecting the server to the MS via the wireless nodes. A first wireless node, while transferring predetermined data from the server to the MS, senses that a connection with the MS is cut off. The predetermined data to be transferred to the MS is then buffered in one or more of the wireless nodes at a time point of disconnection with the MS, and the first wireless node maintains a connection with the server. A second wireless node in the home network system establishes a connection with the MS and, in response a data transfer request from the MS, provides the buffered data to the MS.
