    Abstract: A no-hub connector has a tubular gasket enclosed by a tubular shield and includes two end clamps and two intermediate clamps to tighten the connector around the ends of two pipe sections joined by the connector. Axially extending straps are fastened to each ring clamp, and fastened to the shield at the location of each ring clamp encircling the shield. An inward facing shield surface has optional gripping projections and the shield may optionally extend axially past the intermediate clamps to the end clamps. The inward facing surface of the end clamps may have optional gripping projections if the shield does not extend axially to the end clamps.

    Abstract: A valve assembly includes a body, a fitting, and a stopper assembly. The body has a first end and a second end. The body includes a connector portion positioned at the first end, a nozzle portion positioned at the second end, and an intermediate portion connecting the connector portion to the nozzle portion. The connector portion includes a peripheral wall having a crimped end that defines a fluid inlet. The nozzle portion defines a fluid outlet. The connector portion, the intermediate portion, and the nozzle portion cooperatively define a fluid flow path extending from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. The fitting is disposed within the peripheral wall. The fitting is held within the peripheral wall by the crimped end. The stopper assembly is coupled to the body along the intermediate portion. The stopper assembly is configured to facilitate selectively restricting a flow along the fluid flow path.

    Abstract: A terminal portion for sealing an end of a conduit includes a body including a first end having a first diameter and a second end having a second diameter, the first diameter having a smaller size than the second diameter. The terminal portion further includes an internal ring disposed over and around the first end of the body, and a sleeve disposed over the body and the internal ring. The sleeve is structured to contain an outer portion of the end of the conduit and is dimensioned to accommodate the first end of the body and the conduit. At least one inner sleeve contained in the sleeve houses the body.

    Abstract: A bracket holds a rigid or flexible tube during the pouring of a concrete slab. The bracket has a base and a housing connected to the base. The tube curves around a first tube support on the housing before passing through an opening in the bottom of the housing. The tube and any members inside the tube are cut off so they end inside the housing and are then covered by a housing cap. The base is fastened to a form for the concrete slab. The height of the housing relative to the base is adjusted to place the cap at the planned surface of the concrete slab. After the concrete slab is formed the cap is removed and the cut members inside the housing are connected to other members or devices.

    Abstract: A fluid flow meter system for monitoring fluid flow through a lumen includes a first ultrasonic transducer configured to transmit one or more versions of a transmit (TX) signal through a fluid flowing within the lumen, and a second ultrasonic transducer configured to receive one or more respective receive (RX) signals. The fluid flow meter system includes an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) configured to sample, at a first frequency, the one or more RX ultrasonic signals and a processor configured to generate a fine resolution signal based on the one or more RX ultrasonic signals. The fine resolution signal is associated with a second sampling rate higher than the first sampling rate. The processor is also configured to compute a cross-correlation signal indicative of cross-correlation between the fine resolution signal and a waveform and determine an estimated fluid flow parameter based on the computed cross-correlation signal.

    Abstract: A sensor assembly is configured to mount transducers on a conduit, such as a pipe, for measuring properties of a fluid flowing in the conduit. The sensor assembly can include a sensor cradle capable of seating and maintaining a pair of transducers. The sensor assembly can include a mounting device arranged to couple the sensor cradle to the conduit such that the transducers maintained at the sensor cradle are oriented to allow transmission of ultrasonic waves traversing the conduit. The sensor assembly allows for mechanically stable coupling of the transducers to the conduit. The transducers can be fixed to the sensor cradle though an adhesive. In some implementations, the transducers can be oriented substantially orthogonal to each other.

    Abstract: A valve assembly includes a body having a fluid inlet disposed on a first end of the body and a fluid outlet disposed on a second end of the body in fluid connection with the fluid inlet. The valve assembly further includes a push-to-connect fitting which is integral to the body and configured to connect to an end of a pipe, a stem configured to seal the body in a first position and configured to allow fluid to flow from the fluid inlet of the body to the fluid outlet in a second position, and a connector surrounding at least part of the push-to-connect fitting. The body is configured to house a sealing ring. The push-to-connect fitting is configured to communicate the fluid inlet with the end of the pipe. The sealing ring secured by the push-to-connect fitting is configured to provide a seal between the fluid inlet and the end of the pipe.
