    摘要: An undercarriage of a belted or track-type machine includes a drive wheel rotatably mounted to the machine and a roller frame assembly pivotally mounted to the machine. The roller frame assembly includes at least one idler wheel and a number of guide rollers. Stationary shafts are mounted to the roller frame assembly and rotationally support the idler wheel and guide rollers. Mounting caps clamp the stationary shafts to the roller frame assembly. One or more fasteners fasten an end portion adjacent to the shaft engaging portion of the mounting cap in abutting contact with the roller frame assembly. A single fastener fastens the other end portion of the mounting cap to the roller frame assembly; however, the other end portion is spaced apart from the roller frame assembly. The abutting contact between the mounting cap and roller frame assembly minimizes flexure of the fasteners and movement of the shaft under moment loading.

    摘要: An undercarriage structure for a track-type machine has first and second spaced apart track roller frame assemblies which are positioned adjacent and parallel to the longitudinally extending centerline of the machine. A plurality of first and second track guiding rollers are connected to the respective roller frame assemblies and the axis of rotation of each guide roller is substantially non-perpendicular to the longitudinally extending centerline. This arrangement produces either "toe-out" or "toe-in" of the guide rollers, which results in the links of the track chain assembly contacting the track rollers in different areas as the machine travels in forward and then reverse directions. The wear life of the undercarriage structure is thereby prolonged.

    摘要: An undercarriage structure for a track-type vehicle has first and second spaced apart roller frame assemblies which are interconnected by a pivot shaft and an equalizer bar. The first and second roller frame assemblies are so arranged with respect to the pivot shaft and the equalizer bar that the roller frame assemblies are substantially non-parallel to each other. This non-parallelism produces either "toe-out" or "toe-in" of the roller frame assemblies, which results in the endless track contacting the track rollers in different areas as the vehicle travels in forward and then reverse directions. The wear life of the endless track is thereby prolonged.

    摘要: A track tension actuator is provided for a track assembly having, an idler wheel, a drive wheel, a drive track entrained about the drive wheel and idler, and a hydraulic motor operable to advance the drive wheel. A drive circuit is operable to supply pressurized fluid to the hydraulic motor. The actuator is coupled to the idler wheel, and includes a travel chamber, travel piston, a recoil chamber, and a recoil piston. The recoil chamber is pressurized to urge the recoil piston in a first direction away from the drive wheel. The drive fluid pressurizes the travel piston, which in turn contacts and urges the travel piston in a second direction against the recoil piston to reduce the track tension.

The first collar is positioned relative to the track pin that (i) the first end portion of the track pin is disposed within the first hole and (ii) the first insert is interposed between the first collar and the bushing, wherein (i) the first collar is fixed in relation to the track pin such that first collar is unable to rotate relative to the track pin and (ii) the first insert is able to rotate relative to the first collar and the track pin around the longitudinal axis.

    摘要: A track tensioning assembly for adjusting tension on a drive track chain of a work machine includes a main housing defining a main chamber. The track tensioning assembly also includes a recoil piston positioned within the main chamber. The recoil piston has a recoil central passage defined therein. The track tensioning assembly further includes a master piston secured within the recoil central passage. The master piston (i) increases fluid pressure in the main chamber when the master piston is positioned in a first master position, and (ii) decreases fluid pressure within the main chamber when the master piston is positioned in a second master position. The track tensioning assembly also includes a slave piston having a first end positioned within the main chamber and a second end extending out of the main housing so as to be mechanically coupled to the drive track chain. The slave piston (i) increases tension on the drive track chain when the slave piston is positioned in a first slave position, and (ii) decreases tension on the drive track chain when the slave piston is positioned in a second slave position. Movement of the master piston from the first master position to the second master position causes movement of the slave piston from the first slave position to the second slave position.
