Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for providing near real time communication to a user based on analysis of various user and environmental telematic data. The system includes a user with a wearable human telematic sensor providing telematic data about the wearer. Also, the system and method includes at least one building/environment telematic sensor configured to provide telematic data about the building and/or surrounding environment. The various telematic data is communicated and processed to provide a notification back to the user such as a potential safety hazard. The safety hazard may be based upon sensed data specific to the user, specific to the user's environment, or combinations thereof.

Abstract: A method of encouraging safe driving of a vehicle using a remote starter device installed at a vehicle is provided. The remote starter device determines whether it is in signal communication with a remote starter application operating at a mobile computing device separate from the remote starter device. When the remote starter device is in signal communication with the remote starter application, the remote starter device permits ignition of the vehicle. When the remote starter device is not in signal communication with the remote starter application, the remote starter device prevents ignition of the vehicle. The remote starter application may present to a driver of the vehicle an insurance rate for taking a trip in the vehicle.
