Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for Sidelink Discontinuous Reception (SL DRX) in a wireless communication system to avoid ambiguity on slot offset calculations on SL DRX. A method for a UE comprises performing a SL communication associated with a destination Identity (ID), having a SL DRX configuration associated with the SL communication, wherein the SL DRX configuration comprises at least an on-duration timer and a DRX cycle, deriving a first offset associated with the SL communication based on the destination ID and the DRX cycle, deriving a second offset associated with the SL communication based on the destination ID and a number of slots per subframe, starting the on-duration timer after a time period determined based on the second offset from the beginning of a subframe, wherein the subframe is determined based on at least the first offset, and monitoring Sidelink Control Information (SCI) when the on-duration timer is running.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for handling partial sensing and discontinuous reception for sidelink communication to reduce potential latency due to additional sensing and to improve resource utilization efficiency. Various embodiments can comprise a first device performing sidelink communication to at least a second device, or a second device in a sidelink resource pool, and triggering to perform resource selection for a sidelink data at a timing, wherein the first device (already) receives or monitors sidelink control information for a (contiguous) time duration before the timing. The first device can perform sensing for a contiguous sensing duration after the timing, determine or select a first sidelink resource from a set of sidelink resources, and perform a first sidelink transmission on the first sidelink resource for transmitting the sidelink data to the second device.

Abstract: In an example, a second UE receives a first SCI and a second SCI from a first UE in a first slot. A groupcast sidelink transmission is scheduled by the first SCI and the second SCI. The second SCI indicates a location indication, associated with a location of the first UE, and a communication range. A PSFCH resource is determined based upon the first SCI. The second UE doesn't transmit a NACK indication on the PSFCH resource if location information of the second UE is available, the groupcast sidelink transmission isn't successfully decoded, and the second UE is outside the communication range. The second UE transmits the NACK indication on the PSFCH resource if the location information isn't available and the groupcast sidelink transmission isn't successfully decoded, or if the location information is available, the groupcast sidelink transmission isn't successfully decoded, and the second UE is within the communication range.

Abstract: In an example, a device receives a first sidelink control information in a first sidelink Transmission Time Interval (TTI) in a sidelink resource pool. The first sidelink control information is indicative of a first sidelink resource in a second sidelink TTI. The device determines a conflict associated with the first sidelink resource. The device determines a transmission occasion for a first sidelink transmission with conflict information. The device determines a plurality of sidelink transmissions in the transmission occasion. The plurality of sidelink transmissions comprises a first set of sidelink transmissions with conflict information, and/or a second set of sidelink transmissions with sidelink Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback. The first set of sidelink transmissions comprise the first sidelink transmission. The device determines one or more sidelink transmissions of the plurality of the sidelink transmissions. Determining the one or more sidelink transmissions may comprise prioritizing the second set of sidelink transmissions with HARQ feedback over the first set of sidelink transmissions with conflict information. The device performs the one or more sidelink transmissions in the transmission occasion.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for handling device-to-device feedback transmission in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a first device receives a configuration for operating in a network scheduling mode for acquiring sidelink resources. The first device receives a sidelink control information with a report request from a second device. The first device triggers or is triggered to transmit a report to the second device in response to the report request. If the first device has no available sidelink resource for transmitting the report, the first device triggers a scheduling request. The first device transmits a signaling of the scheduling request to the network. The first device receives a sidelink grant from the network. The first device utilizes sidelink resource(s) indicated by the sidelink grant to transmit the report to the second device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a device to perform sidelink communication. The method further includes the device performing two sidelink transmissions for the data packet on two adjacent, neighbor, or consecutive sidelink resources among the multiple sidelink resources if a time gap of the two adjacent, neighbor, or consecutive sidelink resources is larger than or equal to a minimum time gap.
