Abstract: An aircraft fuselage for releasing a fuel tank from inside the aircraft fuselage in case of emergency includes an outer structure, a mounting device to releasably secure a sled device for carrying a fuel tank in an inside of the outer structure, and a first openable release door separating the inside from an outside of the outer structure, wherein the first release door is positioned in relation to the mounting device such that the fuel tank is released through the first release door when the mounting device releases the sled device. A method is disclosed for releasing a fuel tank from inside the aircraft fuselage in case of emergency as well as an aircraft including such an aircraft fuselage.

Abstract: A movable cargo support for an aircraft cargo hold or passenger cabin includes a base member with its bottom surface having one or more support sections to support the base member on a floor surface. The base member includes wheel assemblies having a wheel member rotatable about a rotation axis and movably mounted on the base member to pivot about a steering axis of the wheel assembly and which can be altered between an extended position where the wheel member protrudes beyond the support plane and a retracted position where the wheel member does not extend beyond the support plane. Each wheel assembly has a biasing member biasing the wheel member towards the extended position and configured so the biasing force exceeds the force by X % at most which forces the wheel member towards the retracted position when the wheel members are on a floor surface and one or more cargo elements are on the support surface having the maximum allowable weight of the one or more cargo elements for the cargo support.

Abstract: A method for joining two substantially planar fiber-composite structural components, includes stacking the two components on a support jig to overlap along a joining region. A lower component end section within the joining region borders a gap between the upper component and the jig, where the upper component is unsupported by the jig. The gap is bordered on an opposite side of the lower component end section by a filling portion of the upper component or a planar filler element supported by the jig. The lower component is joined to the upper component within the joining region by applying temperature and pressure to the components. A width of the gap allows the upper component to elastically deform along the gap under the pressure and bend down into the gap to abut the jig along the gap and thereby compensate thickness tolerances between the components during the pressure application.

Abstract: A reinforcing element for a structural profile, in particular for a round, oval or elliptical structural tube. The reinforcing element comprises: a fiber structure which has a hollow-cylindrical, helically wound mesh of fiber strands and forms an inner shell surface formed to receive the structural profile; and a matrix material into which the fiber strands are respectively embedded and which is formed to be shrinkable by heating so that the fiber structure can be fastened to the structural profile with the inner shell surface by heating the matrix material. The support surface has rolling elements rotatable about a rotation axis oriented where a parallel to the axis runs parallel to the floor plane, and the rolling elements being retained on the bottom element where the rotation axis of each of the rolling elements can be rotated about a vertical axis running perpendicularly to the floor plane. A load carrier can include a bottom element, the support surface of which has outlet openings, through which air can exit from the support surface to form an air cushion under the support surface. A load carrier can include a bottom element the support surface of which has slider elements.

Abstract: A fastening system includes a first fastening element attachable to a structure and which has a base portion for plugging through a structural opening, a second fastening element, and a plastically deformable funnel element. The funnel element has a funnel-like basic shape with a funnel opening. The second fastening element can be introduced through the funnel opening into a receiving opening of the base portion and fastened therein and has a collar which faces away from the receiving opening and which is larger than the funnel opening. The funnel element is designed to be deformed from the funnel-like basic shape into a flat, disk-like final shape by the collar of the second fastening element during the fastening of the second fastening element.

Abstract: A fastening system for fastening fittings to a rail has a supporting element, an opening, and a first radial toothing in an interior space adjoining the opening. The system also has an anchoring element having a second radial toothing. The opening of the supporting element and the first radial toothing are configured in a corresponding manner to the anchoring element such that the anchoring element, in a first rotational position, can be introduced without resistance into the opening and, in a second rotational position, produces an engagement between the first radial toothing and the second radial toothing. At least one form-fitting means is arranged at a first end of the anchoring element and can be introduced into an opening contour of a rail, for producing and releasing a form-fitting connection to an undercut of a rail.

Abstract: A fastening system has a fastening element and at least one fastening device having a flanged housing, a closure element, a hollow-sphere element and a spherical insert. The hollow-sphere element pivots about a first pivoting axis relative to the flanged housing, while the spherical insert pivots about a second pivoting axis in the hollow-sphere element. First engagement means in an opening of the spherical insert are of complementary design to second engagement means of the fastening element.
