Abstract: The cartridge includes a first tube extending longitudinally, the first tube at least partially defining an air passage within the cartridge, a vapor generator in communication with a first portion of the air passage, a first air inlet defined by the cartridge, the first air inlet being in communication with a second portion of the air passage, the second portion being upstream of the vapor generator relative to a normal direction of an airflow through the air passage during an operational use of the cartridge, and a dilution air passage defined by the cartridge, a discharge end of the dilution air passage intersecting a third portion of the air passage, the third portion being downstream of the vapor generator relative to the normal direction of the airflow.

Abstract: An e-vapor apparatus may include a pod assembly and a dispensing body configured to receive the pod assembly. A vaporizer may be disposed in the pod assembly and/or the dispensing body. The pod assembly may include a pre-vapor formulation compartment, a device compartment, and a vapor channel extending from the device compartment and traversing the pre-vapor formulation compartment. The pod assembly is a smart pod configured to receive, store, and transmit information that can be communicated with the dispensing body and/or another electronic device. The proximal portion of the dispensing body includes a vapor passage and a through-hole. The vapor passage may extend from an end surface of the proximal portion to a side wall of the through-hole. The through-hole is configured to receive the pod assembly such that the vapor channel of the pod assembly is aligned with the vapor passage of the dispensing body.

Abstract: The cartridge includes a housing and a reservoir configured to contain a pre-vapor formulation. A first tube extends longitudinally within the housing, the first tube at least partially defining an air passage. A vapor generator is in communication with a first portion of the air passage, where the vapor generator is configured to communicate the pre-vapor formulation from the reservoir to the first portion and at least partially vaporize the pre-vapor formulation. A first air inlet is defined by the cartridge, where the first air inlet is in communication with a second portion of the air passage, the second portion being upstream of the vapor generator. A dilution air passage is defined by the cartridge, where a discharge end of the dilution air passage intersect a third portion of the air passage that is downstream of the vapor generator. The method makes the cartridge. The e-vaping device includes the cartridge.

Abstract: The e-vaping device includes a housing, and a vaporizing heater within the housing. A cartridge within the device defines a reservoir containing a pre-vapor formulation. A chip on an end of the cartridge defines a via in fluid communication with the reservoir. The chip includes an ejector in fluid communication with the via, where the ejector is configured to eject droplets of the pre-vapor formulation towards the vaporizing heater. The method of making the device includes connecting a chip to an end of the cartridge, where the ejector ejects droplets of the pre-vapor formulation towards the vaporizing heater. The method of operating the device includes supplying a first electrical current to the vaporizing heater to energize the vaporizing heater and supplying a second electrical current to the ejector to energize the ejector and eject droplets of a pre-vapor formulation from the ejector towards the vaporizing heater.
